Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel Visit Vaasa in Finland

On August 21, 2026, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Finland to mark the 250th anniversary of the Vaasa Court of Appeal. King Gustav III of Sweden founded the Vaasa Court of Appeal in 1775. It was the second court of appeal in Finland, after the Court of Appeal of Turku, and began holding its sessions by royal decree on 21 August 1776.

Following their visit to the Court of Appeal, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel met local residents in the Court of Appeal Park. They also planted a tree in the park as a lasting remembrance of the anniversary day. Later in the day, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel will visit Aalto University in Espoo.
