On Thursday, July 23, 2026, the Duchess of Sussex shared a series of new photos on Instagram. “Summer holiday,” the Duchess captioned the carousel of photos, adding a sun emoji. She also included a photo from their visit to Althorp. One image appears to show Prince Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet at Althorp, Princess Diana’s childhood home in the UK.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, together with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, travelled to Europe and are believed to have stayed in Portugal before their visit to the UK earlier this month. The Duke and Duchess purchased a property in Portugal in 2023.

They are lovely photos but would be better kept totally private; the constant pull and push of their relationship with the media and publicity is tricky to understand.

حذفI’m puzzled that you haven’t adapted to this very common practice among well known parents around the globe. If a child’s face is regularly seen online, terrible AI adaptations can be made to the rest of them by criminal abusers and shared in nefarious places. Will and Kate do not have this option based on their national positions. But they probably wish they did. This is a protective measure chosen by parents who have this option. The internet is not kind. Many photos of celebrities with their children have their children’s faces blocked by emojis, too.

Their children, their choices - very many people choose not to show their children’s faces on social media for very good reason, but do choose to share holiday snaps - the York sisters spring to mind as an example. We see their children often, but not their faces. LRB
حذفNot sure what to think of this couple and the stresses they seem to bring upon themselves (eg by tell-all book and Oprah interview denigrating Harry’s family but then wanting closeness), but I love to see their kids barefoot. I grew up that way and it was the best of freedoms. As for Meghan lounging by a pool with a lot of gold on her wrist, each to her own, but that never makes sense to me. I wish them all the best and a much quieter life completely out of the public eye, resolving their stresses and rebuilding both families.

حذفNo one asks to be endlessly pilloried in the press. Setting the record straight after the press repeats lies legally isn't asking for it. Funny the royal family never asks for it although they have tell all books and columnists insist legally they were asked to concentrate on the Sussexes. I know people hate to see them in the public eye living life well but don't hold your breath. No do hold your breath. I think they'll continue to work to pay bills and continue their charity efforts. It's funny how some people hate to see them out because according to them they're failing. They have a family and it's pictured.

Most of the family has books written with their participation not just Harry. And his father did an interview that wasn't kind to his parents. Healthy families are worth rebuilding but bringing your children into an incredibly unhealthy one isn't a good idea. I don't wish to see it rebuilt. I wish for the attacks to stop.l, it they won't. So Harry and Meghan should just live their life and provide for their family's peace, protection, and future.

Keeping your children away from that is important. I was a bit surprised, but it was just a quick visit. I never take my gold jewellery off - why would I , it doesn’t tarnish and on holiday you are safer wearing it than sticking it in a hotel safe. Meghan is nominated for an Emmy so she'll be out soon and the royal family will be out with tons of engagements because any press about this woman has to be bad. The recent ruling of the press case put the country in an appalling position. The plaintiff having to prove stolen medical records and family members flunkies going on record to speak to royal reporters with no proof is a dangerous bind we find ourselves in

ردحذفI’ve often thought if they’d have taken a leaf out Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark book, how very different things might/could have been. But,they continue to court controversy. Let’s hope some lessons will be learnt going forward.

ردحذفToo bad people just can't be nice. We all watched Harry grow up and many of us just cheer on happy people in general so why do so many have to be so nasty to this particular couple? Remember the adage, If you don't have anything nice to say just be quiet? Please, if anyone wanted any more negative opinons about other peoples choices we'd be watching the news instead of admiring/critiquing royals clothes.
