On July 25, 2026, Princess Anne, accompanied by her husband, Sir Tim Laurence, attended King George Weekend at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire. The Princess presented the trophy to the owners of Kalpana, the winner of the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
The Princess wore a gold horse brooch featuring diamond-set details in its mane and tail, along with a three-strand pearl necklace inherited from her late mother, Queen Elizabeth II. The Princess has owned the brooch since the 1980s.

Le style de cette robe turquoise à plis amples lui convient à merveille ; bon choix que la couleur ivoire du reste de sa tenue !
ReplyDeleteHow many pearl necklaces she inherited of her mother Queen Elizabeth ? Where are all the pearl necklaces she wore when her mother was still alive ? Each time I see a picture of the PoW wearing a pearl necklace it is written under the photo that she inherited it from Queen Elizabeth. I wonder how much pearl necklaces Queen Elizabeth had.

DeleteAnon 17.19 thank you for the link
DeleteDress is very nice, not sure if this jacket was the best choice, however it looks okay. I like Tim’s tie , coordinated well with his suit. The pant length seems to have excessive pooling, however many men prefer this look.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure they prefer the look, maybe they are just too lazy to have it changed (and officially acknowledge at the same time that it is not the pants that become longer, but they themselves shrink :-)
DeleteIt’s not laziness but rather a correct length for the trousers to sit properly on the leg when the wearer is sitting down.
DeleteThanks for clarifying it is to accommodate sitting.
DeleteI am not a fan of this dress, I have a very unfavourable association to this kind of shiny material together with this dress style ... I prefer not to go into details, maybe this much: Sunday church dress? Anyway, the sweet little hacket is fine with me - but the two collars fight and neither of them can win. Not a good composition this time. Good and thoughtful colour choices though and hello beautiful three-strand pearl necklace, nice to see you when you come out to enjoy the light of the day.
ReplyDeletehacket ---> jacket
DeleteI like the outfit.she's not on the catwalk but at the races
ReplyDeleteL'un n'enpêche pas l'autre.
DeleteJust like the 2 collars are fighting with each other (you are right 17:36) the hat, or is it a head band, is fighting with her hairstyle.
Absolutely 18:50. She’s not on the catwalk and doesn’t need to be perfect and analysed in every detail, especially at her age.
DeleteIt is just when one gets older one needs to be looking fresh and well looked after. I have always tried to look good and fresh and well dressed when going out and I will not stop until I am too old to come out the house and must stay in bed.
DeleteLove her outfit, no nonsense, her husband looks stylish, Why do some people feel they have to comment about other peoples comments, I fell over laughing,
ReplyDeleteThis triple strand pearl necklace is beautiful, the length is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThe dress has a retro look; reminds me of my grandma, and I am 75 years old.
