On July 7, 2026, Princess Amalia of the Netherlands completed her assignment as a military working student with the Royal Netherlands Air Force. After the summer holiday, she will continue her training with the Royal Netherlands Navy as part of the Defensity College programme. She previously served as a working student with the Defence Staff and completed the General Military Training (AMO) programme.
Through her participation in the Defensity College programme, the Princess is gaining practical experience within the Dutch Armed Forces. Defensity College is designed to provide university and college students with meaningful part-time employment during their studies while strengthening the connection between the armed forces and society.
