On July 9, 2026, King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited Penguin Beach at Regent's Park in London to mark the Zoological Society of London's (ZSL) 200th anniversary. This was King Charles's first visit as Patron of the Zoological Society of London, a role held by every monarch since 1828. For the occasion, Queen Camilla wore a midi dress by Fiona Clare.
Founded by the ZSL in 1826 in Regent's Park, London Zoo became the world's first scientific zoo. During their visit, the King and Queen learned about plans for a new wildlife centre, announced by the ZSL as part of its bicentenary celebrations.

Oh that dress! Great choice!
ReplyDeleteThe queen looks better and better, and so does the king!
This is a nice dress, I'd never have thought that a dress with dropped waist could be good on Camilla, but in this case, it is! She has a very pleasant silhouette in it. And that cutest of pattern - those in the know (seeing it close up) can enjoy, at a distance it is just some smallish pattern. 3/4 sleeve yay, and her sun umbrella is sure much more pleasant than to sweat under a hat. 10/10 for me.
ReplyDeleteAnother one of her print dresses that fit so well. Colour is very nice for her.

Wonder how big the temptation was to join the penguins in that water! The idea of a sun parasol is very good. When I lived in Singapore it was very normal for women to use light reflective sun umbrellas, which make a big difference to keeping cool. Good time for these to become normal in this hot European season!
ReplyDeleteLovely print all these elephants. Camilla looks superb for this visit.

Camilla is such a beauty!
ReplyDeleteThe print of the dress is so interesting, I really like this. The colors against the white backdrop are effective and very attractive. The 3/4 sleeves look good, the length of the dress equally great! The dropped waist is a surprise but what a wonderful new addition to her style, I cannot recall a dropped waist before, she has most probably worn one, I just cannot recall. Glad to see her with the small but gorgeous parasol for some weather protection.
ReplyDeleteCharles looks great. The penguins look fun
ReplyDeleteGood rewear. I always liked this dress. It fits well and has just a bit more style than her usual.
ReplyDeleteCharles looks increasingly hunched. In particular his upper back. Sartorially speaking, this suit and colour are better for him than his usual beige summer choices (most of which have probably been in his wardrobe for decades - and that shows - in particular because he likes keeping his hands in his pockets all the time, therefore they gape).
Camilla must has an excellent stylist . She always knows how to make her look good .
ReplyDeleteJust right for the occasion. Nice look for the Queen.
