King Charles, Queen Camilla, and members of the Royal Family are in Scotland for the annual “Royal Week”, also known as “Holyrood Week”. On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, King Charles and Queen Camilla, alongside Princess Anne and the Duke of Edinburgh, welcomed more than 8,000 guests from across Scotland to the annual Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

These photos of royal garden parties are so lovely to study. Anne’s coat and the contrasting jade are splendid. As is the detail on Camilla’s hat and coat.
ReplyDeleteThe queen looks good, but Princess Anne made my day!
ReplyDeleteAnne looks stunning!
ReplyDeleteYes I have always thought this was a great coat for Anne.
DeleteRoyal ladies looking beautiful.
ReplyDeletewhat stands out is the Vicar with a floral dress on top of her uniform, never seen that before!!
It might just be a neck insert she used, to make her position as a clergy woman clear. Not wearing the full cassock, I believe.
DeleteA coat I've always liked on Princess Anne. Unfortunately she doesn't pair it with the right accessories and things. I prefer the presentation by the model.
ReplyDeletePrincess Anne's green dress does not match the red of her coat. A navy dress would look much better. The shape of her black or navy hat remembers me the paintings of Rubens and Van Dyck.
Is it a female pastor on picture N° 6 ? What an idea to wear a summer dress on top of her black shirt and white collar ? She is making herself ridiculous.
Absolutely love Anne’s outfit — very striking. While the bold color combination and especially the marvelous hat almost suggest the look of a theatrical costume, the ensemble stops just short of that. The only thing I would change is the color of the dress beneath the coat; imo it should match the color of the hat, shoes and gloves. What a treat to see Anne looking so stunning!!
ReplyDeleteOh my…. What was Anne thinking…. Black hat, green dress, red coat… I find this such strange and ugly combo…
ReplyDeleteThe queen is beautiful dressed! Very stylish! .
