I don't like this - but that is a Personal Taste

  2. I am not a fan of her outfit; the color combination is not really adequate IMV. The hair looks as having been trimmed recently, but however rather miserable. The thinning technique applied is excessive.

Her natural hair is already thin enough. She doesn't use hair thinning techniques I suppose and if she does it is not wise.

    2. Thinning technique applied by hair dressers. It is usual to see ladies with a similar look. Personally I wouldn't have it for myself, but it is useful to understand situations correctly.
Thinning out hair is a salon technique that involves reducing bulk—not length, with special thinning shears or razors. These tools are designed to remove weight by cutting only some of the hair in different sections.

  4. This top does not look good. And the parrot-yellow trousers do not make it better.

She needs some advice from her daughters about what to do with the hair.

They have completely different hair so any advise would not be helpful. She has fine hair and prehaps it just doesn’t photograph well and sometime hair products make it look stringy

A spectacular colour combination love it. But this is an official opening of a big culrural event. Couldnt she have done something nice with her hair which looks greasy and stringy.

That is the kind of hair you get when it is bleached too much. It looks greasy but I am sure she washes it every day, which is not always good either I hear from several hair stylists.

Continuing story: with hair like this it doesnot matter what clothes you wear: the effect will be spoilt.

What an odd color combination for an outfit. Stringy hair strikes again. Feel sorry for the young girl, does not look (at least in this moment) like she wants to be there.

I can’t quite work out the colours fr the photos. I’m sure the pink and yellow shades must work in reality but often the lighting and photography flashes drain the actual colours.

No excuses please, everybody can see that these 2 colours are not going well together. On Dutch websites I have seen other pictures of Q.M. in these clothes and they looked the same as here. But the eternal repeating that her hair is greasy and stringy is becoming as boring as the eternal repeated comments on D. Sophie's clothes and on CP Victoria's hair. These royal ladies are only human beings like anybody else. No hair stylist can do miracles with damaged hair or with hair that would look much better when cutted short. And no general stylist (if they have one, which I think is not the case for every royal lady) can do miracles if they won't listen to good advice and think they know the best. They could at least try something else now and then.

  12. Mustard yellow is a colour I never like no matter who is wearing it. This is not one of Maxima's best looks. The peachy top doesn't really go with the mustard pants or skirt (not sure). She really is having a bad hair day here. I sympathize. Sometimes no matter what you do, your hair has a mind of it's own. Maybe there was a lot of humidity,

Oh dear I don't even like the flowers 12:30. As far as Dutch flower arrangements go its a total dissapointment. The blouse and trousers the less said the better. It is definately one of her misses.

Odd colour combination but somehow it works, despite being in your face bold. She looks nice in pick. Seems to me we saw this colour combination worn by Melania Trump visiting the queen a few years ago. She had a yellow dress with a large pink belt.

I like the concept of the pink and yellow together, but I remember hearing on a fashion show once that the saturation needs to be the same when mixing disperate colors. So if the pink was more saturated or the yellow was a pastel yellow, I think this combo could work.

I am going to focus on the positive and say that she always has a lovely smile.

It is a nice top, I like this kind of pink, but maybe Máxima had a bout of momentary/temporary colour blindness when putting on the trousers. Hair: she has thin hair. Not her daughters, she is the one with the thin hair. Not greasy, not ungroomed, just thin. T-h-i-n. I am happy that she does not wear extensions on an everyday basis, showing us that there is a life with thin hair, even if a woman does not spend hours every day by trying to hide it.

  19. A mon avis, le rose pâle et la couleur moutarde ne s’associent pas du tout ; en remplaçant le pantalon par du kaki, son look serait bien meilleur !

I do like the blue ensemble the lady to the right of the photos is wearing, up close her jewel choices are lovely.

Not keen on this outfit. But then again Maxima like colors. So, it is fine with me.

A mon humble avis, le rose pâle et la moutarde ne vont pas bien pour le teint de Maxima ; j'aurais bien vu une des couleurs plus vive !
