Queen Máxima of the Netherlands is making an official visit to the Republic of India from Tuesday, 23 June to Thursday, 25 June 2026. Queen Maxima is undertaking the visit at the invitation of the Indian government in her capacity as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA).
On 23 June 2026, Queen Máxima met with young clients of the neobank Jupiter Money, spoke with nurses at HCG Colaba Hospital about their experiences with SalarySe, and heard from beneficiaries of India’s ‘Jan Dhan’ programme, a government initiative that provides households with affordable access to banking and financial services.
Natan Couture Gilson top and trousers

Casual outfit, suitable for the culture i suppose.
ردحذفShe's busy! 3 continents in 5 days!
For which culture is it suitable (and as a consequence, for which is it not suitable)?
حذفStrange remark. PJ’s never are suitable in a professional context.
حذفHaha racist much? 'for the culture.'
حذف'for the culture!' yes.. expected comment from your culture!
حذفin India and most of Asia we love various prints of color.
حذفin Europe bold colors are much preferred. nothing negative about that!
It’s not racist to say an outfit fits a culture! And if it were racist it wouldn’t need a “ha ha”. Have a look around the world and see that different cultures have different clothing norms and that this works very well for India.
حذفI think the print is too strong.
ردحذفToo strong for …?
حذفI love this outfit. If an outfit has to be made from a fabric with a busy print, this is it! It think it works especially because the colours are black and white, it covers almost the full body, and the print is a medium size. Both pieces look better worn together than if each were worn separately with another piece. It looks like a good outfit for warm temperatures too, where prints like this are often found.

The colours are white and green. No black in sight.
حذفI think it’s green, her favourite colour, and white.
حذف(Nienke)
Thank you both 14:44 and 15:46 for pointing that out.
حذفOn my phone screen, it looked like black.
- Anon 9:13
Yes it looks variously green/white or black/white on my screen.
حذفI like it a lot.
Surprising myself here as I generally find Natan outfits to look unfinished (not always, but mostly) but this simple suit actually looks really appropriate for India and the context of the meetings.
ردحذفI like the color and pattern of Maxima's outfit but the matching top
ردحذفand bottom is a bit too busy for my eyes.
I think a crisp white shirt would have looked better.
Maxima certainly is a very busy woman with this important role that she undertakes.
Cate.
Association d’impressions blanche et noire ? J’aurais bien aimé blanche et verte !
ردحذفC'est bien du vert et blanc. Paloma.
حذفThere are garments for which it is the most suitable solution not to have them (and this one would definitely belong to my selection of those garments).
ردحذفAnon: you are great!
حذفIt’s an okay outfit but typical Natan lots of fabric. Pj, home lounging vibes
ردحذفZe is alleen maar in het buitenland, VN is blijkbaar belangrijker, dan Nederland.
ردحذفOutfit een beetje pyama achtig.
Ze moet zich toch kunnen bezighouden op niveau …
حذفAh daar ben je weer…. En wat about fashion J?
حذفMost people in the Netherlands are proud of the work she does for the United Nations.
حذفAlthough this is a blog about fashion I think we should also talk about sustainability here. It would be nice if the royals do more to be an example in sustainability. Oh yes sometimes they do a re-wear but when I learned that Máxima has about 1500 pieces in her cupboard and about 300 pair of shoes ( not yet included the ones that she got rid of) then I thought this is an exorbitant contribution to the overproduction of clothes in the world.
ردحذفIch stimme zu.
حذفOh yes sustainability is absolutely a discussion within fashion. Very happy to join that! That said, this blog focuses on royals, not necessarily fashion, although most commenters comment on the clothes.
حذفWell when you buy quality they last longer so your closet will be full. This woman is always working so perhaps she gets more use out of them than we know. She is supporting an industry that will churn out products regardless..
حذفAgree !!
حذفMaxima does 100's of appearance a year and has for the 2 decades she's been a Royal. She rarely gets a new dress and re wears constantly, even her daughters re wear her clothing. She is more sustainable then the average woman.
حذفCinci
Where Did you learn that? Facts please
حذفYou know Maxima rewears? And Monaco doesnt? Please comment this at her blog
حذف@Anon 16:42 If you wanted to talk about sustainability and the number of times royals ladies re-wear their clothing instead of almost never being seen wearing the same high-end dress, gown or outfit twice, Maxima should not be on that list. There are plenty of times that we have seen her wearing older outfits more than once, some outfits going back from 10 and even 20 years ago. Queen Mary of Denmark is another person who re-wears a lot, digging deep into her closets, and both these ladies often share their clothes with their daughters. If you think 1,500 items of clothing, hats, shoes, casual jewellery and accessories is a high number, it's actually probably on the low side. A much, much higher number is probably more accurate for many of the 10 to 15 royal ladies that show up regularly on this blog.

Charlene is the most sustainable of al Royals, her wadrope is rented, thats why she does not rewear.
حذف7:15 I don’t believe that for a moment. What is the source of your data?
حذف16:42 yes an interesting topic to keep alive here! Each of the royals we see here own vastly more clothes than the average person. Partly it’s justified to own very nice clothes in their roles, but they could buy far fewer and do far more rewears as we all do. They are rarely seen using clothes over and over.
حذفIt hurts my eyes, the print, Natan, the fit, the hair...
ردحذف@16:42: because your example is Máxima, did you also notice that she is out and about - I think every day? She is exorbitantly active, which partly explains why she has so much in her cupboard. But she is also one of the most diligent re-wearers, did you consider that? Or did those who wrote that piece about her shoes tell something about her re-wear rates? I would suggest you go to the blog Ufonomore and look up Máxima's (or other royals') outfits. At each one, you will see how often she re-wore that outfit (Charlene: nearly never). This Elie Saab for example 6 times: https://www.newmyroyals.com/2026/06/queen-maxima-opens-renovated-valkhof.html and there are several more much older pieces she re-wears again and again - e.g. she re-wears all those shorter outfits that tell you they are several years old and she does not ditch them just because their hem is longer.
ردحذفThis outfit looks good, she has the height to wear it well. It looks comfortable. This is going to be a good tour, a topic of importance and substance. I love the initiative.
