On June 17, 2026, Queen Letizia presided over the 2026 meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Residencia de Estudiantes Foundation, the institution’s highest governing body. The institution is regarded as a historic and cultural landmark in Spain and one of the country’s leading spaces for dialogue between science, the arts, and the humanities. During the meeting, the 2025 Activity Report and the Action Plan for 2027 were approved.
Before the meeting, Queen Letizia visited the exhibition dedicated to Federico García Lorca, installed in the Transatlantic Pavilion. During the tour, she received an explanation from the Director of the Residencia de Estudiantes about the exhibition’s contents and its connection both to the career of the poet from Granada and to the history of the institution itself.

Great dress for the queen, not sure about the black espadrilles, and I like espadrilles, perhaps a lighter color but it is just a minor quibble.
ReplyDeleteIt is navy.
DeleteThe dress is too long. The print is nice.
ReplyDeleteToo long for …?
DeleteToo long for Letizia.
DeleteCette robe au joli imprimé lui va superbement bien ; il me semble -sans certitude- que ses espadrilles sont de couleur bleu nuit !
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sandra about the length of the dress. I do not like the rolled up sleeves. It is O.K. during ones free time or during vacation but not for work or business. The espadrilles are also a shoe style which I would wear more during vacation or free time, but I know in Spain it is a normal shoe during summer. In this case I prefer the white espadrilles like on the last picture.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I find the rolled up sleeves almost a necessity, compared to the model, but also generally for this type of rather casual dresses. Somehow it easily becomes too much (fabric, pattern, covered area of the body). .
DeleteAgain the protocol wise...at a university nobody wears a suit.
DeleteAnon.20:36. Totally agree with you. Anon.22:24. What is the point of buying a dress with full -length sleeves and then always wear them rolled-up. Why not buying a dress with 3/4 length?
ReplyDeleteThe dress is nice, though I don't like the lower tiered effect of the skirt, its hard to pickup but its there.
ReplyDeleteOn my screen her shoes are Navy as is the bag. I prefer these as opposed to the white.
