On June 13, 2026, Princess Kiko and her second daughter, Princess Kako, visited Tsukuba University of Technology in Ibaraki Prefecture. They met with people with hearing impairments from Kyrgyzstan. Tsukuba University of Technology is Japan’s only national university dedicated to people with visual and hearing impairments and, in cooperation with JICA, runs support programs for people with hearing impairments in Kyrgyzstan.
Both mother and daughter are dressed nicely. P.Kiko's jacket and matching top looks very nice with the white horizontal stripe, but I especially like P.Kako's collar and lapel detail, and the way it forms a point at the back, like a scarf. The flare of the skirt is also lovely.

Both ladies look elegant, but I absolutely love Princess Kako's red dress. It's a perfect style on her, and she has a delightful smile too. I'm sure the students are very happy to meet with the princesses.

ReplyDeletePrincess Kiko mastered sign language prior to her marriage, inspired by which Princess Kako also acquired the skill. As members of the Imperial Family, they both engage in truly admirable activities.
