On June 30, 2026, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène, accompanied by Christophe Mirmand, Minister of State, Samuel Vuelta Simon, Secretary of State for Justice, and Lionel Beffre, Government Counsellor, visited the Directorate of Public Security, where they attended an operational briefing in the presence of the Controller and his senior staff.
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène then travelled to the Fire and Rescue Barracks, where they were welcomed by Colonel Tony Varo and Colonel Maxime Yvrard. The Prince and Princess also met with the emergency response teams.
On June 29, 2026, an explosion occurred at the entrance to a residential building on Rue Révérend-Père-Louis-Frolla in Monaco, injuring three people, including two adults who were reported to be in critical condition and a 13-year-old child. According to initial reports, the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device allegedly placed inside a backpack left at the scene by an unidentified suspect.

Jacket with double vent looks very manly for woman. Besides that the color and style is not the best for Princess Charlene .
ReplyDeletei agree!!! its very masculine, and brings out a very slender size but i suppose it was the best outfit on this sober ocassion.
DeletePersonally I can not agree - classy and elegant look over all.
DeleteHow sad, that even in the tiny conclave of Monaco, there are terrorist attacks!
ReplyDeletePrincess Charlene looked appropriately and solemnly dressed for such a upsetting moment.
Lowri.
You mean enclave...
Deletethey are targeting the Rich Ukrainian and Russian oligarch, thats where they hide
DeleteAccording the information on national TV and the newspaper of my country, it was an attack against an Ukrainian oligarch living in Monaco.
DeleteLe brun pour Charlene: pas du tout. Josée.
ReplyDeleteBoth the outfit and the hairstyle are a stark departure from the softer looks Princess Charlene has favored recently. Can’t love the masculine tailoring, and the last thing Charlene’s broad shoulders need is shoulder pads. All rather puzzling, imo.
ReplyDeleteThis brown pantsuit, perfectly aligned with her height and shape, a very well crafted outfit. This ensemble looks splendid. The pants, good length, as is the jacket. Her beige shoes look good and blend well. The single stud pearl earrings perfect choice. Her makeup is near natural and looks appropriate. Especially when you consider the reason for their visit. I hope the injured are recovering well, a terrible event.
ReplyDeleteI find that the clothes are irrelevant for today - but always loving your comments Ava - note that you have written that the suit is perfectly aligned with her shape - whereas I see especially from behind that she is much too skinny now to properly fit an otherwise neat suit.
DeleteNot a venue for stand-out fashion, hair, or jewels. Her Serene Highness is dressed appropriately and impeccably. She is really coming into her own.
ReplyDeleteTerrible suit !
ReplyDeleteDifficult day for Monaco and nice to see coverage of the royal couple getting briefed.
ReplyDeleteLooking sad in every aspect
ReplyDeleteThis is most definitely not a well crafted suit. The leg seams are puckered, the shoulders too broad and sleeves the are not well set, the trousers are just that little too long, the colour may suit the solemnity of the visit but it is not flattering.
ReplyDeleteYes that was what I noticed as well, I was surprised to see the puckers in the seams. Perhpas the extreme heat is affecting the fabric.
DeleteL ensemble et sa couleur ne me plaisent pas et n avantagent pas non plus Charlene. Elle n a pas l air d apprécier d être là
ReplyDeleteCharlène vêtue sobrement en respect aux victimes
ReplyDeleteA proof that in Monaco not only honest rich people live but also bad rich people.
ReplyDelete* It must be
Delete"A proof that in Monaco not only live rich and honest people but also rich and bad people".
12:23 not sure we needed a proof of that. It is a tax free haven for the richest, therefore automatically of many with ill gotten gains. The more honest rich don’t move countries to try to hold onto all their money and not give back to the countries that helped them build their fortune. Dodgy as.
DeleteLike everywhere. What a stupid comment….did you think it was fairyland or something
Delete18:49 it is not ok to call another’s comment stupid. Hold your own ideas but don’t denigrate others here.
Delete@ 18:37
DeleteWhat about the retired sportsmen and show business people who are living there ? Are they all bad people ? Maybe you are living in a country where the taxes are not very high. But in certain countries now more than ever taxes are getting higher and higher. Retired people who worked their all life must leave their own country to save a part of their fortune for their children and grandchildren.
I think I saw her already with that suit during autumn or winter of 2025.
ReplyDeleteSo she does wear sometimes but not often clothes more than once.
The color of this suit is not good to wear in june or july. If she wishes to adapt her clothes to the circumstances, I am sure she must have a navy dress or pantsuit in her dressing. Navy is a color which is suitable for every circumstance. That it is why it used so often for uniforms.
17:23 why is the colour not good in July?
DeleteThat color is not good for any season of the year.
DeleteVery solemn and serious look from Charlene today. Perfect for this meeting--especially after the horrible attack.
ReplyDeleteJanet
Je ne peux pas dire que ce tailleur-pantalon ne convienne pas à Charlène ; peut-être est-ce dû à la couleur marron ?
ReplyDeleteMonaco "The paradise" is full of people with dirty money.
