At the invitation of the Indian government, in her capacity as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA), Queen Máxima is undertaking an official visit to the Republic of India. On 24 June 2026, the Queen co-hosted two roundtables in Mumbai: one on financial health measurement with the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth and another on women’s financial health with CGAP.

Excellent use of a zimmerman. A lovely blue, I find it very cooling.
ردحذفHmm... stepping right out of a long plane ride and then into meetings may not be so easy, so the hairclip that looks like it was left in after putting on makeup is forgiven (we have all done that). The fact that the dress looks like a luxurious bathrobe can also be forgotten, as it is so beautiful. :-D
ردحذفWhat is so bad about hairclips? Most women with long hair use them, why is it frowned upon on royal heads? Yes it is plastic - but note, not all plastics are created equal and you cannot make them out of gold.

Maxima's dress is fabulous especially the contrast of the beige paisley print against the cool blue. The contrast in colours is gorgeous and the wraparound design is classic and always flattering. I also like the balloon sleeves.
ردحذفI like the color of Maxima’s dress and the pattern, but the style reminds me a bit of a bathrobe. The hairclip and the wrap over one shoulder like a towel add to the unfortunate impression of someone getting ready to do their nightly ablutions before bed.

ردحذفThe dress suits HM Q Maxima so well, but I can’t get over the hair clip. For me, 1) I don’t find the hair pulled back like this flattering to the Queen’s face, and 2) this sort of plastic clip is something one wears at home while gardening or doing chores. It seems very jeune fille in this setting.
