If I had to pick which dress was worn by which lady, I probably would have switched the dresses! HSC looks very pretty in this lace dress and I’m sure it’s perfect for the hot weather. However, I think this could be one of my all time favorites on the Queen! She looks stunning in the interesting white dress and the gold arm cuff, bold earrings and soft hairstyle is a powerful look all together.

Charlene looks beautiful too, but ... look at Letizia, this asymmetrical waist is spectacularly simple and makes this dress simply spectacular. Love it.

I like the style of the OdlR dress,I would have preferred a bolder color. This pale shade washes Princess out.
QL looks lovely in white with gold accessories.
I’m confused. Why does PC curtsyi to F&L? As the wife of Monaco’s head of state, surely that puts her on the same status level?

Charlène is a Serene Highness, Leticia is a Royal Highness, therefore higher in rank.

Letizia is a queen of a big country, Charlene is a princess of a tiny tiny principality.

Very beautiful ladies in lovely dresses. I particularly like the floral lace that Princess Charlene is wearing. But both ladies are similarly attired in sleeveless summer dresses. And did you notice the low-heeled kitten pumps Princess Charlene is wearing - to me, that seems respectful to Queen Letizia and her need to wear lower heels these days.

  11. Princess Charlene looks lovely, I don't normally like dense lace dresses, but this is very pretty, she looks good. Queen Letizia looks stunning, this dress is gorgeous, its nice to see the rewear. Love her cuff gold bracelet and earrings, they are both eye catching and add interest, love both pieces.

  12. Magnifiques toutes les deux en cette période estivale ; j’adore le bracelet manchette de Letizia ainsi que les boucles d’oreilles dans le même style original !

There is a calm, subtle dignity surrounding Charlene, reflected in her perfect hairdo, her assorted shoes, her calm posture, as opposed to queen Letizia with her long, overly casual hair, her strange, ill-fitting sandals etc., I find the contrast very interesting, difficult to nail down. Charlene certainly looks more regal.

Photo #2, as a full side view, gives a perfect opportunity to see the fitting of Letizia's shoes and IMHO, they fit absolutely fine. Of course, everyone is free to find an updo nicer (and in case of Charlene, I completely agree, an updo is simply better for her at any occasion), but why does it mean that a well-groomed non-updo is too casual is beyond me.

They both look great. Letizia is perfectly groomed and elegant while maintaining a relaxed, senior, confident hostess role. Her hair isn’t tied back but that does not make it casual. Charlene also looks good, if quite washed out. Letizia has allowed herself some sun colour and has worked mightily on her arm muscles while Charlene has been slimming down way below the weight we first met her at when she was a very healthy and muscled swimmer, and keeps her skin protected as much as possible from sun and its effects. One therefore is looking like a relaxed confident active woman who happens to be a queen, and the other looks a little “porcelain”, and also beautiful and well prepared for this visit.

Charlene's fit and flare lace dress is perfectly tailored. Her entire look is flawless. If you care to look, Letizia 's dess is inspired by a creature in nature. Very clever. The bold jewelry is a testament to her creative spirit. She is a beautiful woman and on the whole presents well.
Commoners handing out regal trophies. Must be bash Letizia day....again

  14. Both ladies look cool, summery and well dressed. They seemed to have picked similar styles with light colours. I love Charlene's shoes.
