Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan is celebrating her 36th birthday today. She is the wife of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and has served as Queen of Bhutan since 2011. To mark the Queen’s birthday, the Royal Palace of Bhutan released a new photograph along with the message: “Today, we join the people of Bhutan in celebrating Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen and offer our heartfelt wishes and prayers for Her Majesty’s good health, happiness, and every blessing in the year ahead.”
15 years as Queen! Time flies. It seems like yesterday when I saw the pictures from her engagement announcement.
