On June 18, 2026, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited Media Square, the new headquarters of RTBF (Belgian Radio-television of the French Community) in Evere. During their visit, the King and Queen were introduced to the strategic vision behind the project, its integration into Mediapark — the new district dedicated to media and creative industries on Reyers Boulevard — and the opening of the building to the public.

The King and Queen also went behind the scenes of the production of news and other programmes and learned about the new technologies that will support the teams’ daily work. Among the areas they visited were the Master Control Room, from where programmes will be managed and broadcast, and the new newsroom facilities.

The queen is looking good. This style dress works well for her figure.

Agree - a "very" beautiful Queen.

  2. The tie at the waist adds some flair to the design of the dress. An interesting feature that catches one's eye.

That’s a great look for Mathilde. With the Western European heat wave I wonder if Belgium is also warm? This dress is an all year dress but maybe not comfy on the hottest days of summer!

Yesterday afternoon 32-34 degrees Celsius. In the buildings of the RBTF there is probably airconditioning and in the car which is driving the King and Queen there is airco too. So I think they did not suffer from the heat yet.

Queen Mathilde's red dress is or a rewear, or it is a new dress which ressembles a dress she already had in the past, or it is an older dress which has been transformed to a newer style. For the moment I cannot find the complete explanation about the outfit she is wearing today. King Philippe didn't adapt the color of his tie to Queen Mathilde's dress, something he normally does.
The queen is looking good in red, her shoes and clutch are in a good beige/sand color. She is wearing modern golden earrings of which I didn't find the description either. When I find more details, I will add them in a separate message.

  6. She nailed this look, beautifully suited to her shape. The silhouette is wonderful. I love the side flounce, this adding style and panache. It definitely enhances appeal. The color is eye-catching and suits the Queen well. The beige shoes and clutch are a clever addition. Her hair and makeup are on point, soft and natural.
