Wow! Harriet is the rising fashion star for the British royals. Stunning, elegant and yet a nice modern twist on her white outfit. The beautiful hat reminds me of one that Princess Diana once wore. Fresh looking and vibrant!

  4. Queen Camilla really suits this deep blue outfit and the new Mrs Philipps dress is very smart and still very "bridal" What a joy to see the extended Gloucester family in attendance.. I like the blue of lady Rose or lady Davina's dress. Of the granddaughters, I think Senna Lewis' navy dress best. Great to see them celebrate with their grandmother.

  6. The Duchess's granddaughter in the Navy dress looks wonderful, she is tall and striking, hence this dress suits her perfectly. Lovely to see her with her Grandfather. Nota fan of Queen Camilla's dress, seen so many of similar before, but love the color. The diamond and sapphire brooch is beautiful. Harriet looks nice but I don't like this white lace dress. Too bridal looking. The Duchess of Gloucester looked beautiful she was the pick for me here. Jewel wise, and outfit wise.

I think Harriet is most definitely still in the bridal period and I love that she chose this dress. Live it up, Girl!

It's always nice to see the Prince Albert brooch. The late Queen wore it frequently. The blue dress is fine probably one of her better dresses. I don't like the Beulah London dress Harriet is wearing and the hat is a bright white. It doesn't match the dress. I don't know if I dislike the hat or the hat with the dress. I'm being picky but a white purse would have looked better. They look happy to be there though. It's nice to see the Gloucesters. Son, daughters, and grandchildren. I like Lady Davina's blue she looks good. Lady Rose's floral dress is okay. I'll have to see a better view of that hat. The grandchildren are out. They're all tall. I only know Lady Davina's daughter. She is taller than the Duke of Gloucester in heels. She looks very pretty. The girls have grown up lovely. I'm assuming he's the Earl of Ulster's son. Haven't seen a good photo of him in a while. I always thought Alexander was good looking when he was younger. The Duchess of Gloucester is wearing a nice dress. I wouldn't have chosen that hat with that dress if I was the the Countess, but I'm not.

When I look at queen Camilla‘s blue dress and compare it with the duchess of Gloucester‘s outfit, both are in the same age group, then I find Camilla in her swishy creation much more stylish and even bouncy than the duchess, who looks fine but terribly prim and proper, especially the hat.

I like the white lace dress worn by Mrs Harriet Phillips. I'd just like the underdress to be as long as the lace overlay. I also like the hat.
The Duchess of Gloucester dress is a rewear, she wore on different occasions and it is a dress I do not like. The colour is dull. I didn't know she had so many daughters and grand daughters or daughters in law (photo N° 6,7 & 8). I do not like any of their dresses which are too long. They are wearing terrible hats on hair that looks not washed or brushed. I wonder where the handbags come from those who are wearing one. They probably found them on the attic of their grandmother. It looks like the majority of these young women are pregnant. Their boy friends or husbands are wearing suits or hats which are too big or too small for them (photo N° 6 and 8) Q. Camilla is wearing one of her easy dresses (zip front) and a hat she has in many colors.
It is time they put everything away until next year. There are 5 dresses I remember which were lovely : 2X Zara Tindall, 1 X Harriet Phillips, 1 X PoW and 1 X Q.Camilla. The outfits of most men do not fit and they are looking ridiculous. I wonder if it was also so hot on the other side of the channel ?
A hat, a shirt, a tie, a vest, a suit and an umbrella (the only logic object in case storm was announced on the weather forecasts).

    1. While I agree that Lord Culloden’s too hat looks too big, I think the criticism of the granddaughters is a bit harsh. They are only 16 and clearly not regulars at this kind of event to say they look pregnant is quite insulting in my view. . I think Senna Lewis looks perfectly put together, Lady Cosima’s outfit is very pale but it’s fine as is the dress worn by Lyla Gilman.

Well than it is time they adapt their dress code. Or everyone is wearing copies of the dresses and hats which were worn in the old days, or they are wearing beautiful dresses and hats inspired on the historical dresses but not cheap dresses and old accessories from another period.
Ps : the sun did shine on me, not very difficult these days everywhere in Europe there was sunshine and heat everywhere. Therefore I felt pity for the men in their ill fitting suits, vests and hats. You call it negativity, I call it a bad play in a theater were there is not enough money to buy new and beautiful costumes & accessories.

I agree with those that commented about Mrs Harriet Phillips being the up and coming style star of the BRF.. On both days she and her husband attended, she looked absolutely stunning. My one tinsy gripe,I wish the overlay of the dress, was the same length as the underlay. I loved the hat, it suited her perfectly. Hair and make up, was also on point. It’s nice to see a younger member of the BRF making such an effort. I feel since QE2 passed, there’s been a relaxed look to events. When people turn up to greet a royal it’s nice to see the royal has pulled out all the stops.
QC - I like the blue, but it has more of a Winter feel, rather than Summer. Though the sapphire brooch is quite breathtaking.
Lovely to see so many of the Gloucester out in support of the DoG birthday.
    Lowri.
