On June 23, 2026, Luxembourg’s 2026 National Day celebrations began with an official ceremony held at Philharmonie Luxembourg. Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie were welcomed by Prime Minister Luc Frieden, President of the Chamber of Deputies Claude Wiseler, and the Mayor of Luxembourg City, Lydie Polfer.
Afterwards, a military parade was held on Avenue de la Liberté in Luxembourg City. Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie attended the parade. Having been enthroned on October 3, 2025, Grand Duke Guillaume delivered his first National Day speech. As part of the National Day celebrations, a “Te Deum” service was held at Notre Dame Cathedral.
Claire Mischevani Yellow Drop Hem Dress

DeleteYes!! Perfectly fitted dress with simple, elegant lines and a standout color for an occasion that calls for high visibility — and an updo! Absolutely spot-on for a Grand Duchess on her country’s National Day. Well done Stephanie ❤️
ReplyDeleteYes, agree completely. Stéphanie looks elegant, well-dressed for this occasion. Very good hairstyle, classic, simple, "timeless" dress that suits her well, beautiful colour.
DeleteA pity she has chosen for an uneven hemline. The yellow colour is suiting her.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I love the yellow color of the dress. It suits the GD very well. Too me this dress seems too big ?! And the white peep toes give me a Queen Mum vibe unfortunately. But as always the GD herself is radiant and lovely.
DeleteAgree with the comment about the un even hemline, it is not a hi-low hem, somewhere in between, looks odd.
DeleteThe lady in pants in the last 2 photos (not being rude, expressing my opinion) but with her body shape, a skirt would have looked so much more appropriate.

DeleteDid you see it too ? On photo N° 5 & 6 she wore peep toe shoes. On all the other photos she didn't. Or she changed her shoes, or there is shadow or something in these photos which give the impression of white peep toe shoes ?
Gosh you are observant, Anon 20 46. And quite right. I guess she changed for the second event. Lovely hairstyle again and I do like the yellow dress despite the asymmetric hem
DeleteBeautiful yellow color and the dress is very flattering, even though a few more inches on the length would help. Unfortunately, the anccessories and hairstyle are very aging.
ReplyDeleteCharmante Stéphanie, oh mon dieu la dame tout a fait à gauche
ReplyDeleteGreat style dress for her silhouette. Not keen on the uneven hem, but it does add interest. She looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHer style is so matrony these days! the hemline is uneven!!
ReplyDeleteNo, it isn't matronly, it's classic elegance befitting her position. The pink jumpsuit she wore the day before, was a bit more modern, but she looks great in both outfits.
DeleteDon't you think the uneven hemline is intentional ??
DeleteOf course the hemline is intentional, but it is a pity it ruins the dress.
DeleteHer hair looked better the day before.
Matronly “in the way of the mother”… yes she’s a mother, even when she wears a dress. We can’t use that as a derogatory term.
DeleteStephanie looks lovely in her cheerful-looking yellow dress. I like the v-neck and very slightly puffed sleeves at the shoulder on her. I would prefer that the hem not be raised in the front, but that is a minor quibble.

Stephanie looks fantastic! I would love to see her hair more in detail.
ReplyDeleteStellar dress, perfect style and shape for the GD. The pearl earrings up close are beautiful, lovely shape and size, they also have a lovely gleam to the pearls. I would have loved to see a single strand pearl necklace. The yellow color is sublime. Not a fan of white shoes, I would have loved to see a light beige, minor quibble and my own taste. The GD is wearing what appeals to her and that is all that matters. Her up style hair looks beautiful, suits her perfectly. Her makeup natural and on point. The Grand Duke, so sincere and smiling, he has such a lovely pleasant and kind demeanor, very much emanating from him. They are a lovely couple.
ReplyDeleteVery well said.
DeleteThis is the second day running that Stephanie has worn a beautiful outfit that fits her perfectly and is a gorgeous colour. The royal couple exude charm and joy on every occasion and it is lovely to see.
ReplyDeleteI most like the ivory dress with the big brown dots. As for the Grandduchess, the colour is really great on her (she does colours, preferably the stronger ones, really well), and also that the dress is simple yet elegant.
ReplyDeleteThis style is perfect for GDS. open neck. Lightweight material, giving the appearance of shape without a belt or tie waist. The color is Summery fresh. I would have preferred a nude shoe and bag. I find white a little harsh. But all in all, a lovely look from HRH.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
Stephanie looks very nice in this dress, I do find it is a bit wide on the top but it falls nicely to the skirt. The woman in the culottes, an example of how they are not becoming.
ReplyDeleteMuch better choice than the green one.
ReplyDeleteTo me the yellow dress hangs like a potato sack and look how cheaply it is made in the bodice, so uneven!
