For their first National Day Eve as the Reigning Couple, Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie visited Differdange on June 22, 2026, where they took part in the celebrations alongside the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Claude Wiseler, Minister Marc Spautz, Mayor Guy Altmeisch, as well as numerous officials and members of the public.
Welcomed at Gerlache Park, the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess observed activities presented by young people, particularly those representing the secondary schools and the university. Afterwards, they met with members of the local community. For the occasion, the Grand Duchess wore a pink silk top and trousers by Natan.

A good outfit for Stephanie (free flowing, not constricting), a delightfully, bright colour, and a beautiful hair arrangement. Very nice!

My quibble is with the designer/s- what were they thinking ? Those odd sleeves are just plain unattractive to my eyes!!!.
I knew that it was Natan as soon as I saw it! So often a Natan outfit is almost very good but then something strange happens to it!🧐
I agree, the odd sleeves are not attractive. Why is Natan so popular with European royals?
DeleteYes exactly - she looks beautiful … but this design house does strange things and it’s 95% of the time to a top, almost never to the base of a garment. To me it looks once again like they were on to something good then just gave up and left the top unfinished. I’m perpetually bewildered why they are popular with the Benelux ladies given this predilection for unfinished tops.

DeleteNot only royals are wearing Natan. Aristocratic ladies which are living in Belgium or the wifes and daughters of princes, counts, barons, .... who are not related with the Belgian royal family are wearing Natan too.
Natan doesn't stick to the old traditions of couture but often comes with something new. Natan uses more up-to-date ways of making dresses, coats, etc... Sometimes the house of Natan is looking back at older traditional haute couture houses like Christian Dior, who has been copied lately not only by Natan but by several other designers.
Also Natan's assymetrical ideas of making dresses have been copied by several designers. Maybe Natan copied himself these ideas which have been used in the past by other famous designers.
In fashion sooner or later everything is coming back.
Not every queen or princess wishes to wear old fashion or traditional
ways of couture.
Well other than the mismatched sleeves, it is a nice fitting Natan. Colour is lovely on her

I would just add that whilst I understand why Mathilde might feel
pressure to support Natan I don't understand why Maxima wears so much from this label and she normally wears the most unusual pieces
of all the royal ladies.

This ensemble falls freely, I feel this suits her beautifully. The lines of the outfit suit her perfectly. The style is individual and feminine. Love the color, its pretty. She looks so elegant with her up style hair, makeup looks natural. Her earrings are very unusual, I'm not sure what the stone is? I think her shoes and clutch color is a lighter shade of beige, which I love.
