On May 31, 2026, Emperor Naruhito and his daughter, Princess Aiko, visited Meiji Jingu Stadium in Shinjuku, Tokyo, to watch the Tokyo Big6 Baseball Spring League game between Keio University and Waseda University. The game concluded with a victory for Waseda University. The Emperor had previously attended a Tokyo Big6 Baseball game in 1968. For Princess Aiko, this was her first time attending a Tokyo Big6 Baseball game.
What fun! The Princess looks wonderful. A lovely outfit to match her beautiful smile.

ReplyDeleteThis is a very feminine jacket and it makes me stop to wonder: why are still the majority (?) of jackets for women made in the same heavy style as men’s suit jackets? Hmm. This sort feminine style is gorgeous and in a slightly hardier material would be eminently rewearable with jeans, formal trousers, skirts and dresses. I love it.
