  1. J’aime beaucoup la longue tunique imprimée au col officier satine que Masako porte avec un pantalon blanc ; très frais !

Queen Maxima shines in this stunning and chic blouse and trouser outfit. Fits her so well and hair is nicely styled . The Empress, always lovely in her tailored clothing - but an interesting touch to the detail on the collar, sleeves and slide slits of your tunic. She finds ways to make the required traditional clothing, look just a bit updated and fresh.

What brave kids. They seem delighted to meet the royals. Hard to comment on the Royal outfits for such visits, but I note and love the brown ruffled jumpsuit of the young girl.

What a delight for the Japanese children in the Netherlands to meet the Emperor and Empress as well as a king and queen. A friendship to envy, only wish Aiko could of accompanied them. Bless them all. The outfits have a nice peaceful hue.

Masako looks sensational in her beautiful jacket, the colour harmony is perfect and perfect too how top (collar) and bottom (shoe tips) make a unified whole out of the components. I would love to know how it came to a colour harmony between the Emperor's tie and Máxima's blouse on the one hand and Masako's steel coloured collar/shoe tips and the King's tie on the other.

  7. I like wide leg pants but Maxima's are a bit too wide to the point where they are overwhelming or distracting. I also agree with others that the colours are a bit off. It could be my computer but it looks like a pink top with light brown pants.

In my job I went with the former emperor and empress of Japan in a very private visit to mentally and physical handicapped children in Amsterdam. The emperial couple was so kind and warm to the children and parents. And in these pictures I see the current emperial couple with the same love and warmth to these very ill children.

Both ladies are dressed nicely and the same can be said for the men, with their coordinating accessories. But apart from the clothing, what truly grabs my attention is the warm and genuine connection displayed between the 4 of them. It's not often that you see this publicly among royals and it is so charming and truly special. (Yes I know how helpful they have been to Em.Masako and Ep.Naruhito during stressful times.)

(The only other time I remember seeing such strong Royal vibes of goodwill was when William and Catherine visited Sweden many years ago, and spent time with Victoria and Daniel at their home as well as visiting sites as a 4-some. William happily teased Victoria many times and she was delighted with laughter, as did the other two. Also Q.Maxima and Q.Mathilde are pretty close as I recall.)

  11. Maxima looks lovely, the blouse is sublime, I like the design, its unusual I find appealing, pretty color, the pants, not this color, they are a bit on the wider side, but she looks great. The Empress looks lovely, I really like this outfit, she looks great.

    天皇皇后両陛下は20日午前に政府専用機に乗り、昼間のうちにベルギーに到着します。
    このブログに集う皆さんは、皇后陛下がどのような服でベルギーの地に降り立たれると予想しますか?
