On June 26, 2026, the 2026 PhiloMonaco Prize ceremony took place at the Princess Grace Theatre in the presence of Charlotte Casiraghi, President of the Monaco Philosophical Meetings. The Monaco Philosophical Meetings, also known as PhiloMonaco, is an intellectual symposium and cultural organization based in Monaco.
The Best Essay Prize of this 10th edition was awarded to Estelle Ferrarese for Une philosophie des sanglots, published by Éditions Rivages. The Publisher’s Prize was awarded to Éditions Jérôme Millon. Finally, the 2026 High School Students’ Prize was awarded to two students from FANB and Lycée Albert Ier. For the occasion, Charlotte Casiraghi wore a cotton and silk midi dress from Chanel’s Coco Beach 2026 collection.

ردحذفI put my nasty finger on it, Ava, and say: The most important difference between - say, a female nurse's caretaker's gown or something similar in function? - is that this one is from Chanel and has silk in it. A lot of fabric for freedom of movement is the only positive remark I can think of. This occasion is clearly not for dressing up in your sexiest outfit, which is really all right, but this dress is the exact opposite of that.

حذفI agree with you, Ava. The dress is simple and very nice, but IMO it is a wee bit too long. And the shoes are not the best choice for this dress.

If it wasn't mentionned one cannot see it is by Chanel. To my taste it is also too long. There is too much fabric in this dress so that it hangs on Charlotte (Photo N°4). Her shoes are usually black and of a weird style. Sorry but I usually do not like her Chanel or other clothes.

حذفNo the Chanel dresses she can wear for "free" (or special conditions) because she is a model for Chanel. The "other Grimaldis" : the only Grimaldi who wears a new dress or suit each time she is photographed, is Princess Charlene.
حذفI actually really like this dress - on the model, and on Charlotte. I don´t think it´s too long or too bulky either. But I do agree that it´s still not right. It´s way too casual for the occasion and certainly not what I would wear for a prize ceremony. The shoes aren´t horrible as such but underline the casualness of the dress rather than dress it up. Same for the ponytail - I like it but it comes across as very laid back. This is the kind of airy, comfortable style/outfit that´s ideal for the heat we´re having right now, and would work for errands, for work, for a day at the beach (dragging along a beach bag like the model) or a picknick in the park. But for a prize ceremony - no, especially at a festive theatre and as the president formally heading an organisation and personally awarding the prizes. I will say however that the other people in the photos aren´t any more formal than her. Maybe this is their formality level.
ردحذفAnyway, I think that this a wonderfully normal and down-to-earth outfit on Charlotte, and I prefer that over the try-hard, arty, weird, unflattering, slave-to-fashion kind of choices she usually wears. I also like her smile and demeanor here indicating that she is at ease and actually enjoying the engagement. We know that she loves literature.

Quite right, Vanessa. But I would say her propensity for artsy outfits is likely more due to the need to express herself beyond the family roots than an intrinsic style choice. I often like it.

حذفI like this style dress but it is totally wrong for her, perhaps because it appears to big on her super thin body. The colour is not complimentary. Shoe are okay, and fine but, this dress is a no for me,

Good serviceable dress, however she could have used another belt with a pop of colour.
