On June 10, 2026, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the closing concert of the 2026 Queen Elisabeth Cello Competition at Bozar in Brussels. At this year’s cello competition closing concert, the top three prize winners—Ettore Pagano, Tae-Yeon Kim, and Leland Ko—gave a joint performance accompanied by the Brussels Philharmonic, conducted by Samy Rachid. Queen Mathilde wore a fuchsia dress by Carolina Herrera.

The Queen looks great in bright colors and this hot pink is very flattering. As for the dress, there’s just so much fabric that it drowns the wearer, but I will say that I think the Queen wears it better than the model.
