On 10 June, Princess Madeleine celebrated her 44th birthday. The Princess of Sweden, Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland, was born at Drottningholm Palace on 10 June 1982 and is the youngest child of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia. The Royal Court released a new photo of the Princess to mark the occasion. She is celebrating her birthday with her family.
Princess Madeleine carries out official engagements as determined by King Carl Gustaf. Princess Madeleine and Christopher O'Neill were married on 8 June 2013 in the Royal Chapel at the Royal Palace. Princess Madeleine and Mr O'Neill have three children: Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas, and Princess Adrienne.
After several years of living abroad in the United Kingdom and the United States, Princess Madeleine and her family returned to Sweden and settled there in the summer of 2024.
