On May 25, 2026, Jordan celebrated the 80th anniversary of its independence. In Amman, the Hashemite royal family presided over the official ceremonies. King Abdullah II, Queen Rania, Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Rajwa, Princess Salma, Prince Hashem, Princess Muna, and other members of the royal family attended the 80th Independence Day ceremony at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman.
Independence Day is a national holiday in Jordan marking the country’s independence from the United Kingdom in 1946. The holiday, held annually on May 25, is usually marked by official ceremonies attended by members of the House of Hashim, as well as civil and military officials. Jordan became a full member of the United Nations in 1955.

Rajwa looks like a modern goddess!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness … my thoughts exactly!
DeleteGoddess.👑👗💝
She looks great indeed. The king’s mother also looks fantastic.
DeleteJordanian designers made Rajwa's outfit.

Is the king’s mother in lilac? She’s beautiful. Ageing gracefully is such a beautiful model to follow.
DeleteBeautiful dresses on all the royal ladies. Gorgeous fabrics and stylish designs.
ReplyDeleteYes, usual high standards for the Jordan RF. Not a fan of Pr Salma's dress however.
DeleteAll the ladies look spendid. I especially like Rania's more traditional gown but Rajwa's gown is amazing. It's one of a kind with the shawl draping over the shoulder for a dramatic effect. Those are some over the top bracelets.
ReplyDeleteThey all look beautiful. Princess Rajwa in particular knocked it out of the park.
ReplyDeleteWow Rajwa's style is making a come back! Everything about this outfit is beautiful; the gold designs on the arms, the brooch 💛
ReplyDeleteEveryone looks good here, but I agree with Coralie; Rajwa looks amazing. I love the gold bangles (if that's the correct description) on her wrists. Lovely detail on Rania's dress too. Gorgeous red and black dress on Salma as well.
ReplyDeleteBracelets manchettes !
DeleteBeaucoup de style chez chacune de ces dames mais particulièrement, c'est Rajwa qui est superbe dans sa robe époustouflante !

All the ladies brought their A game. I especially like Princess Muna’s lavender. That seems to be the color trend.
ReplyDeleteI love the gold embroidery message on the sleeves of her dress. You can’t fault the attention to detail.
Queen Rania looks stunning. Hair and make up beautifully done.
Princess Salma, though the dress has the illusion of looking heavy, on close up, it’s just that, an illusion, cleverly achieved.
Lowri.
To me the first prize go to Princess Rajwa. I'v always liked dresses with assymetric draping. The "bracelets" are costume jewelry I think, they are not real bracelets but probably in a material that is softer than metal and is attached one way or another on the sleeves of her dress. The mint green is a beautiful color for Rajwa. Queen Rania's dress is beautiful too, but there are details which I like less f.ex. at the neckline and sleeves. Princess Salma's dress I do not like because it looks more like a bath robe than a dress. Her clutch look childish and doesn't match the dress.
ReplyDelete@Anon 17:30 I read on another site that the golden bracelets (or cuffs) may contain some gold, and the design on them is Arabic calligraphy reflecting the lyrics to the song, "Jordan, Land of Determination" by a musician and singer called Fairouz.

Beautiful dresses of the royal ladies of Jordan. I like the soft pastel colors of the dresses. It's a shame we don't see the full dress of the King's mother. This lady is in her 80s and she is beautiful. I've seen other photos of her and she looks incredibly stylish. Her grandson Prince Hashem looks a lot like her (sitting next to her).

The youngest Princess - Salma - has been photographed beautifully. Her face strongly resembles her mum (pre major facial surgeries and pre dying her hair ). Her red dress is luxurious and suits her beautiful face beautifully.
ReplyDeleteAll dresses are amazing, but I like the most, that they all have a oriental touch. They reflect the culture, are modern and beautyfull. Well done!
ReplyDeleteWow, the younger generation brings
ReplyDeletesomething very refreshing to the royal court!
Daring, modern with a wink too ancient Tradition.
Love it!
Yes, I adore their dresses with a wink to ancient tradition, as you say.
DeleteJust beautiful. The gowns are fantastic and so are the RL wearing them. Pss Muna looks great, sadly only see her sitting.

Paloma.
The gowns are beautiful. Queen Rania looks lovely in this embroidered blue gown, fits well, the design is very becoming. Love the color, her small evening clutch is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteRajwa looks amazingly beautiful. The style of the pale blue gown looks magnificent, she does look like a goddess. Love the fabric piece over her shoulder. The brooch at her shoulder is perfect. The cuffs of her sleeves embellished effect looks so good.
Princess Salma looks equally stunning, her gown suits her beautifully.
