On May 16, 2026, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia inaugurated the outdoor summer exhibition at Solliden Palace. The King and Queen will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in June, while Solliden Palace is marking its 120th anniversary. To commemorate these occasions, photographs of the Swedish royal family are being exhibited in the stone garden area of the palace grounds. The anniversary exhibition will run until September 27.
Lovely family photos, reflective as some of the people in the last photo particularly are no longer with us.

I love ponchos and capes, and wear them often -- but this one is just too voluminous and too long for Sylvia. With capes, it is not a case of "one size fits all". This one, which would look fine on Charlene, adds unnecessary bulk and width, and makes Sylvia's dainty petite frame look heavier than it is. There are some gorgeous capes in simple shapes which in my view would suit her much better than this one. Lyra
