This year’s public season began on May 7 and will continue through August 30. Oscarshall is a summer palace located on the Bygdøy peninsula in Oslo, along the Frognerkilen fjord. The palace was built as a private summer residence and was completed in 1849. In 1881, King Oscar II opened Oscarshall to the public as a museum.

Lovely to see Sonya, as always.
I would like to see her wear pants without the front creases (as Sylvia does), and more of a blazer style of jacket - I think this would really suit her. Lyra

I just wanted to put in a word in defence of this sweet (and also warm, according to description by the maker) jacket. We see so many women in so many blazers anyway ... for me it has always been a (not really that much needed) copy of men's wear.

I don't see what you mean "front creases". I clicked on the photo's of April 23 and May 14 in which she wore each time black or navy pants and I didn't see creases ?

Perhaps the fabric of the pants is wool, therefore they would be pressed with a crease.

Anon 13:05, I'm referring to the lines created when the pants were ironed.
It's a way of ironing which is used for men's dress pants. It can look good with a woman's pants suit when the pants suit has a similar look to men's suiting. It is rarely used these days for women's pants outside of that context, (as we see with most other royals), and I dont feel the formality of the creases is the right choice for the jacket, and also this casual occasion. 4. Belle combinaison de cette élégante veste blanche avec le pantalon noir ; ses boucles d’oreilles sont trop cachées !

I love the new style of jackets Q. Sonja is wearing lately. Today she wears a white/cream jacket and on april 23 she wore a red one. Good choice, she can pair them with black, navy or white pants.
