On May 11, 2026, Queen Silvia of Sweden, together with Elke Büdenbender, wife of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, attended the “Child Protection Round Table” organized by the World Childhood Foundation Germany (WCFD) at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin. At the meeting, participants discussed ways to improve the protection of children. Queen Silvia is the founder of the World Childhood Foundation.
I love the Queen’s shoes. Was it Chanel who first issued them, but now they are well copied. They seem to match so much of a woman’s wardrobe and always look neat,
ردحذفI can imagine she likes to wear the Chanel ballerina's inside the palace, must be very comfortable. Outside I would not wear ballerina's of any brand. At my age, nearly 80, I prefer a training shoe or a shoe with good comfort : support, anti slip, not too small or narrow.

Collar arranged nicely over the jacket, pearls matching the colours she is wearing, and I love these shoes too. No high heels could make her outfit better. .

حذفI agree, it is a joy to see a pants suit where the shapes and proportions are so perfectly in harmony with the wearer's figure. Silvia is petite, but her look avoids all the usual pitfalls of petite dressing, such as too boxy, too widening, or too long.

Her pantsuit looks business like and smart. Love the two toned shoes. Her clutch is a good color. Love the choice of jewellery, the multi colored pearl necklace, the pearl earrings are a marvelous size, love them. Nice to see a brooch adding interest to her jacket. The First Lady looks very stylish and elegant. Love her outfit. The jacket is unusual, but I like it, the pants are a good fit, the shoes nice color. Her contrasting bag is a clever choice. She is always smartly dressed and well groomed, very elegant indeed.

حذفLet's not compare. It is so evident that fashion is made for slim persons - in other words, in out times, it is simply more difficult for women with some overweight to look good. It is not the only factor - but it does play a role. As an example: the Queen Mother was also not quite slim. But remember how fashion looked like when she was young? It was easier for her. Silvia has perfect taste - but she also has a perfect figure.
