On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA), attended a closed meeting entitled Insurance 4 ALL. Organised by CGAP in conjunction with the AXA insurance group and held at AXA headquarters in Paris, the meeting focused on affordable and accessible insurance and how it contributes to financial health.
The meeting formed part of the annual gathering of CGAP’s Council of Governors. CGAP is an internationally oriented think tank focused on financial inclusion. Queen Máxima also took part in a discussion with Guillaume Borie, AXA’s Global Head of Finance, Strategy, Underwriting, Risk and Technology.

From what I can see she looks lovely, up close the fabric looks of good quality.
ReplyDeleteShe looks fine and speaks extremely well on inequity, including always having up to date data memorised and offering solutions not just platitudes. That is very impressive. But the event to me is strange with AXA (a huge insurer who pushes premiums up every year, as all the monster insurers do) sponsoring an event “focused on affordable and accessible insurance”. Marketing event by the sounds, with a huge draw card like Maxima.
ReplyDeleteQuite right!
DeleteAgree
DeleteTotally right
DeleteCette couleur marron n’est pas à son avantage même si ce que je vois ressemble à une robe !
ReplyDeleteDiscutabel dit, een vorm van belangenverstrengeling? Onflatteus pak, vieze kleur.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I want Máxima to dress ordinary and boring. For instance in this working visit a nice pantsuit and not trousers with a big split.
ReplyDeleteThis visit clashes with her position on all sides. She has already been reprimanded several times by the Dutch government for overstepping her bounds. The clothing is difficult to see, but the bare shoulder and slits make for a glorified pajama, or in other words, royal house suit.
ReplyDeleteAgree with the inappropriate comments about over-stepping bounds, as well as over the top outfits.
DeleteGreat color and lovely suit.

Not a suit, a mish mash of bare versus covered.
DeleteLovely outfit and she wears it well.

Zucht, het zoveelste koninklijke huispak.
ReplyDeleteI know it’s a business event but can”t say I’m a fan of the colour of this outfit. Clearly Queen Maxima may not want to be at her most flamboyant when she’s attending an event like this and the off the shoulder top and wide slashed leg trousers stop it from being boring, but it’s not among my favourites.
