On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA), attended a closed meeting entitled Insurance 4 ALL. Organised by CGAP in conjunction with the AXA insurance group and held at AXA headquarters in Paris, the meeting focused on affordable and accessible insurance and how it contributes to financial health.
The meeting formed part of the annual gathering of CGAP’s Council of Governors. CGAP is an internationally oriented think tank focused on financial inclusion. Queen Máxima also took part in a discussion with Guillaume Borie, AXA’s Global Head of Finance, Strategy, Underwriting, Risk and Technology.

From what I can see she looks lovely, up close the fabric looks of good quality.

But the event to me is strange with AXA (a huge insurer who pushes premiums up every year, as all the monster insurers do) sponsoring an event “focused on affordable and accessible insurance”. Marketing event by the sounds, with a huge draw card like Maxima.
