On Monday, May 4, 2026, Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the first round of the Queen Elisabeth Cello Competition at Flagey in Brussels. This year’s edition of the competition for emerging musicians takes place from May 4 to May 9. This year’s competition marks the 75th anniversary of the competition and the 150th anniversary of Queen Elisabeth’s birth.
Carolina Herrera Floral Jacquard Dress

Cette robe imprimée floral sied à merveille à la silhouette de la reine !
ReplyDeleteDoes Mathilde play the cello(at home)
ReplyDeleteI know she plays the piano but her youngest daughter Eléonore is playing violin (or cello ?).
DeleteBeautiful dress that looks marvelous on Queen Mathilde.

Before assisting at the first round of the competition, Queen Mathilde visited the exhibition "The Belgian royal family and the cello". She wore a dress by CH Carolina Herrera which she wore only once in 2021. There are grey prints in the dress and she paired it with grey shoes and a grey handbag by Armani. She looked dressed appropriate for the 1st session. It is a good fitting dress like always with Carolina Herrera. I must admire the queen she can wear sleeveless summer dresses already now that we don't have good weather anymore. She must have a good circulation of the blood.
ReplyDeleteLove this dress so pretty and feline, room to move. Great look.
