On May 20, 2026, Queen Mary of Denmark took part in the 40th anniversary celebration of the social organization Settlementet’s employment and education initiative, which is based in Saxogade in Copenhagen. Saxogade is the world’s only social economy street. The Saxogade street is home to nine social economy shops that help some of the most vulnerable unemployed people find a place in the working community.
During her walk through the street, the Queen met several of the young people taking part in Settlementet’s internship programs. The day was celebrated with a festival in Saxogade, where neighbors, partners, volunteers, and interns marked the anniversary with speeches, a concert, and a tribute song. Queen Mary wore a navy jacket with button cuffs by Veronica Beard.

I love the cream pants, I’m not so sure on styling it with the jacket. The pants give a casual vibe where as the jacket has more of a ‘suit’ vibe. A lighter jacket would have been lovely.
