  1. Superbes éventails ; je remarque que Camilla nous remontre la robe bleue portée lors de son voyage aux Etats-Unis - La duchesse de Gloucester bien vêtue avec une coiffure sur cheveux courts qu’elle a su

The Duchess of Gloucester looks stunning in her white two-piece piped with black. Love everything except the shoes. This type shoe with straps looks so old fashioned imo. But her face has such a glow to it - beautiful lady.

I agree the shoes look comfy but not very becoming

I love the shoes and she couldn’t have chosen a better style to fit the context and the beautiful rooms they’re visiting. Highly becoming in my opinion.

Both royal ladies look lovely and it's so nice to see them attending an event together. Camilla is wearing her usual style but this is a beautiful example of it. The style and cut of the coat/smock/dress fits her perfectly and the three pleats in the front add style as well as room to move while still maintaining a fairly sleek silhouette. The colour is lovely too. But for me, it's the DoG who really shines here. Her cream two-piece is stylish and the black detailing on the (padded) shoulders and especially down the front gives it a beautiful look, and the skirt is nicely shaped as seen in the photo with the mirror reflection. She wears whites, creams and ivories very well, as does Camilla, probably because their blonde/white hair provides continuity. I'd love to see them do more events together on their own.

I agree with you, Anon 9:13, about the Duchess of Gloucester’s outfit, and it looks like she has also done her usual creative, impeccable broach placement. She really knows how to wear the fabulous Gloucester jewelry collection.

@Royal Watcher: Yes, so true. The DoG expertly selects and places her jewellery choices for her outfits.
@Mary T: Yes indeed. A quiet sort of elegance.

Queen Camilla's portrait is stunning--very beautiful! Camilla in shades of blue like this always looks great--these types of shades are so flattering and make her complexion glow. The Duchess of Gloucester looks fabulous--so elegant. The fabric of her suit looks to have some type of pattern that is very beautiful. And, her shoes!!! Love them!!! What an upgrade to a traditional pump that we are used to seeing on her and Camilla--the lower heel is very much given a big fashionable plus from the strap across the arch.

  6. The Duchess of Gloucester looks impeccable, well groomed and very stylish. The two piece outfit suits her beautifully. Its very flattering to her shape and is fitted well. The style and design, I love. The fabric is gorgeous. The black trim is eye catching, adding interest to the jacket, very clever addition. The skirt has nice swish, the jacket is the perfect length. I like the lower heel she is wearing but not the strap across her mid part of her feet. I'm wondering whether these are special shoes for her feet? I do love the color of these shoes, the dark clutch, bringing out the dark trim of her jacket. I love her hair, short, natural but well groomed, suits her beautifully. She looks very attractive and elegant.

I do not like the style of this dress on the Queen. It’s the collar I don’t like, the shirt look. A big no. The Duchess looks as gorgeous as ever.

She once seemed more herself in tailored suits and quiet tunics. The newer dresses feel almost ceremonial, as if shaped after our remembered Queen. Yet imitation rarely carries the grace of one’s own nature.
