On May 7, 2026, Queen Camilla visited the Fan Museum in London to open the exhibition “Monarchy.” The Duchess of Gloucester, who is also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers, joined the visit. The exhibition features around 80 fans spanning three centuries of royal history, including two from the Queen’s personal collection.
The Queen was presented with the fan featured in her official Coronation portrait by artist Paul Benney, who was present at the event. Commissioned by the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers to mark the Coronation, the fan was included by Paul Benney in his portrait and was formally presented to the Queen by the Master of the Livery, Dinesh Naidu.
