By the time we are in our 60s we well and truly realise that how we wear our hair is our own choice. Some days we want glamour, others we want simplicity. Both are completely valid as is any other effort in between.

She has a good haircut, nothing is grown out, her hair is clean and has a basic style. But if you mean by "laissez aller" that she, a public person, does not colour her hair, then let me tell you: this is the best public statement she can make without words.

00:02 bravo/a !! It is crazy the number of critical comments about other people’s hair in these blog comments. Hair is part of our person and thus personal. Caroline chooses when to dress up or down and I for one LOVE that she does not feel compelled to only leave her house “perfect”.

Simple look that makes Caroline very approachable to the teens especially. The pictures show how engaged she is with the teens and their parents. This is not a usual look for Caroline in public but I think she looks wonderful.

I for one like Caroline’s hair. It suits her, a good length that doesn’t need fussing with. So much better than trying to be trendy with silly tendrils, or super long hair,

Exactly. The problem is not Caroline's hair, if there is a problem at all, it is the seemingly unavoidable expectation that white/grey hair has to be made invisible (and most women obey).

Love a classic black pantsuit, but made casual and modern with sneakers, rolled up sleeves, and a great brown leather bag. And the best accessory of all, the adorable dog! I think this is a stylish, approachable outfit.
