With roots dating back to the Middle Ages, the church at Børglum Abbey has throughout history served as both a cathedral and an abbey church, where bishops and canons carried out their daily duties. Hans and Anne Rottbøll, who own and live at the abbey with their family, represent the sixth and seventh generations of the Rottbøll family.

Her two sisters may be queens, but this fine lady is a Queen also - of style, elegance and sophistication. Rarely - if ever - has P. Benedikte taken a fashion misstep, and this time is no exception. The colours are perfect, the statement hat is beautiful, and I love the shawl collar and parted, pointed hem of the coat, perfect for cool spring weather. I wish that the tie belt was moved slightly to the side so we could see the bottom of the coat better but that is a very minor wish. She looks fab and it's always a pleasure to see her.

I agree, even her nail polish matches the coat!

    5. Her two sisters? Margarete is queen (if retired), but what other sister?

Totally agree. Annemarie with king Constantijn had te flee Greece in 1967 and in 1974 the Greek population voted in majority to be a republic. So she is not a queen since 50+ years

@Coralie: The youngest sister, Anne-Marie. She was the wife of King Constantine of Greece, and so she was Anne-Marie, Queen of the Hellenes. Greece has chosen to be a republic causing the King and Queen and their family to flee, but 50+ years later Anne Marie continues to use the title of Queen, and her many children still title themselves as Prince and Princess. Most of the family live in London now.

    8. Thank you very much for the information!
But then a queen without a crown and without a monarchy is no queen.

Older women and dusty pink is a match made in heaven ... Being an older woman myself, I love it too.
