The Royal Family of Denmark transferred its residence to the Chancellery House at Fredensborg Palace, where they will reside for the coming months. On May 4, 2026, King Frederik X and Queen Mary were officially welcomed to Fredensborg by the mayor, accompanied by flags and music performed by the Fredensborg Palace Chapel Girls’ Choir.
The King and Queen took over the Chancellery House around the time of their wedding. Prior to this, the building, dating from 1731, was renovated after having served as the residence of Queen Ingrid for many years. Until 2010, when Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg was fully renovated, the Chancellery House was the Royal Couple’s primary residence.

Reiss Mila Linen Wave Trim Wide-Leg Trousers

These must be my favourite Royal photos of the year. I love their coordinated outfits (ps William and Cathrine had the same recently… her pants matching his shirt / his top matching her pants … is this a new couple fashion trend?), I love the smart casual tone, and I love how they interact with the people, most especially Frederick with the small boy.
ReplyDeleteI love the wide leg pants with the trim along the side, pcokets and waist that compliments the beige jacket. That detail elevates the outfit to a new level.
ReplyDeleteIn these trousers Mary looks like a swedish teenage gangster!
