On May 29, 2026, Crown Princess Victoria visited Landskrona Citadel to inaugurate the new exhibition “The Escape 43.” In the autumn of 1943, more than 7,000 Danish Jews fled across the Øresund Strait to escape deportation to Nazi concentration camps. By fleeing to Sweden, the vast majority of Jews living in Denmark survived.

During her visit to the Commandant’s House at Landskrona Citadel, the Crown Princess toured the new exhibition, which features testimonies, archival materials, and historical artifacts. Following the tour, a ceremony was held in the castle courtyard, where the exhibition was officially inaugurated. The exhibition tells the story of how Swedish and Danish fishermen, along with many others, helped carry out the rescue operation.

Other than the uneven hem, it suits the princess. The neckline and front pleat add interest, the print is small and the colour is complimentary.

  5. Jolie petite robe légèrement asymétrique que Victoria a l’air de beaucoup aimer !

Maybe a simple high neckline is not so nice for anyone - but I am sure it is not good for Victoria, because each time she wears something with a high, closed-up neckline, it is the first feature I notice and dislike. I think her neck itself and her hairstyle, both do not lend themselves for a high neckline. - But I have to admit that I don't like anything else that this dress presents. To keep myself just with one toe balancing on the positive side: Nice shoes!

Agreed - above all it the dress is something which would Quenn Silvia wear.

I agree that this tight neckline isn’t flattering. The crew neck and pleating make her chest and shoulders appear larger than they are.

To @20:51: Queen Silvia would never wear a dress like this. Nor would I (as an old woman :-). To be an old woman (not necessarily a granny) does not mean that someone loses style and taste.

  10. I quite like the pleating f the neckline, though the neckline is on the higher side. Her hemline I don't like uneven hem, regardless of that she looks lovely. The color scheme of the dress is pretty, a lovely shade of green.

Oh she’s lovely in this shade of green. Beautiful. I love the uneven hem which I think is soft and feminine. For the neckline it’s interesting but a more open round neckline would have been perhaps even nicer.

Beautiful dress on CP Victoria but not the uneven hemline. This is so passé. A good tailor must be capable to make it even.

I believe Queen Mary used to wear a skirt of the same fabric?
