Ahead of the International Day for Biological Diversity, which takes place on May 22, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Oscar, and their dog Rio went on a bird walk in Haga Park. Earlier this week, before the school day began, Prince Oscar and the Crown Princess met nature and cultural guide Henrik Waldenström to take a walk together through Haga Park.

During the walk, Henrik Waldenström spoke about the birdlife in Haga Park and the many species that could be heard singing in the park. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Oscar observed a wide variety of bird species, including mallards, goldeneyes, geese, coots, blackbirds, and goldfinches.

Always my favourite royal pictures - not dressed up, no fashion to comment on, genuine outdoors enjoyment.

Pss Victoria always looks so much better on casual clothes! Perhaps because she seems so approchable and down to earth. A great future queen

Her casual clothes is well fitting, and the green tones suit her well. Appropriate comfortable clothes that she can participate in the event. Oscar is looking a bit chilly on his walk. Get activity for them and of course the little dog.

Prince Oscar is still having that cute little face. I think CP Victoria is happy to have such 2 beautiful children. And Rio must be happy too that he can walk in the parc with them.

Kronprinsessan Victoria besöker nästan dagligen Ottenby på somrarna för att ägna sig åt fågelskådning!

Very nice mother-son outing. Oscar is a handsome little fella. This is one setting in which I don’t mind Victoria’s hair clip.

  13. These photos are some of the best I have ever seen. Mother and son, look fabulous. Both outfits are perfect for the occasion. This visit was great, marvelous for Oscar. Nothing better than being out with nature. Its so good for little ones, not enough of this done imo these days. Oscar looks great in his outfit, fits perfectly. Love both ensembles.
