On April 5, 2026, King Charles and Queen Camilla lead the royal family in attended the traditional Easter service at St George's Chapel in Windsor. They were accompanied by other members of the Royal Family, including the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The Duke of Edinburgh, James, Earl of Wessex, Princess Anne, Sir Tim Laurence, Daniel Chatto, Lady Sarah Chatto, Isla Phillips, Savannah Phillips and Harriet Sperling's daughter Georgina attend the Easter Service. Peter Phillips and fiancée Harriet Sperling join royals ahead of June wedding.
Queen Camilla wore a red wool crepe dress by Fiona Clare and a hat by Philip Treacy, with a brooch that had belonged to Queen Elizabeth II. The Princess of Wales wore a crepe belted midi dress by Self-Portrait. Princess Charlotte wore a bespoke butterscotch coat dress by Catherine Walker, paired with a new blue pleated chiffon dress by Self-Portrait.

We all want the young girls to feel comfortable in what they wear, but for a church service a little modesty might have been in order, rather than the short dresses Peter’s daughters are wearing. Harriet daughter looks modern fresh and respectful in her choice.

Queen Camilla left her boots home and wore black panty hose and shoes with an elegant little heel. If only she would have worn nude or natural looking panty hose, it would have been much more elegant with her red coat and hat.
ردحذفI don't like the dress or 2 piece (jacket and skirt) by self portrait worn by Princess Catherine. It is much too long and the light beige color does nothing for her. Princess Anne wears an old coat but the color is beautiful. I don't understand why she must still wear black suede boots. Even when it is not warm enough for the time of the year, nobody is wearing knee boots at Easter.

حذفHow do I know ? One just have to look around. Even Queen Camilla did not wear boots! King Charles didn't wore a coat as well as other men of the family. So it must be not that cold. In Scandinavia the ladies of the RF's are wearing boots but it is much colder there than in the rest of Europe.

ردحذفThe Philips girls have gotten so tall. They looked cute. I was still wearing stockings and Easter dresses at their age but I don't mind their dressing less formal. Sometimes I wore a hat. Can't see Harriet's daughter but I'm sure she looks nice as well. I didn't care for the POW's skirt suit the first time she wore it and don't now. I liked a lot of what I've seen Harriet wear so far but this is okay. Not much interest style wise. No Sophie or Lady Louise. Happy Easter.

حذفI like this time very much what Catherine is wearing, two-piece with belt and soft swishy skirt is exactly what she can wear so well with her slim body type. I cannot share the preoccupation with vivid colours for Easter. Exception is the silly hat, I can't help myself not liking this type of non-hats sitting in an awkward position looking as if a piece of fabric landed by chance on their head. But at least: all hair is back, which is good.

حذفThe Queen looks wonderful in red and I love the cut and details on the coat and hat. Also, the black pantyhose and shoes look wonderful. Hopefully she’ll choose that instead of her black boots sometimes. Everyone else is fine but nothing very interesting IMO.

ردحذفOn the model it looks better than on Harriet, I don't know why. Maybe without the silly hat or maybe her panty hose is too light, almost white. And of course it is also too long. I am sorry but I do not like these long skirts on almost anybody.

I think your view of “old fashioned” is what English fashion sees as classic. The hem length is very feminine, the hat is very sweet. I think she got it just right.
حذفI will defend the decision to wear boots on Easter. Some people, especially women in senior age, suffer from "so-called cold feet syndrome" or low blood circulation in the lower extremities.

Plus, in old churches it is usually cold and the marble tiles, when you sit at mass for about an hour without moving, your feet simply become brittle and it is not pleasant. Thankfully, I go to a fairly modern church (Catholic, about 50 years old), so we have underfloor heating under the pews and we are comfortable.

I like everyone's formal attire, let's not forget that this is a church visit, where more modesty is required - for a simple reason: the clothes should not be distracting or provocative to other churchgoers who want to focus on spiritual things.
ردحذفIf someone wants to play with fashion, there are plenty of other opportunities to shine. .This especially applies to the length of women's and girls' skirts: no shorter than the knees - my opinion and this is what we follow in our family. I just recently advised my niece: Are you going to church or to the cinema? Choose your skirt accordingly.

There is a big difference between "no shorter than the knees" or almost ankle length. Midi skirts are fashion but the skirts or dresses of the royal ladies are almost always ankle length also when they are not going to church. The length of the skirts/dresses presented by the models of the different brands are almost always shorter than the length worn by the ladies of the BRF, which mean their hemline is not in proportion with the length of their body.

ردحذفWonderful to see a rewear of Catherines outfit. I like the darker accessories, particularly the Nano bag, this is gorgeous. She looks very elegant, love her hat. The earrings are a favorite of mine, perfect choice. Queen Camilla looks splendid in this shade of red, this is a gorgeous color, suits her well. Love the addition of the brooch. Splendid to see Lady Sarah, love her blue silk blouse. She is wearing lovely earrings, and she too is wearing a brooch, nice! I love Charlotte's coat.
I think lady Sarah is wearing a blue cashmere jacket underneath her navy coat. On the picture one can see the button of her jacket on the left of her brooch. She is wearing a matching silk shawl I think, which is covering her neck.
