On April 29, 2026, the Prince and Princess of Wales spent their 15th wedding anniversary visiting IntoUniversity, an education charity that benefited from their Wedding Gift Fund in 2011. IntoUniversity, which aims to help young people facing disadvantage achieve their full potential, was one of 26 charities supported by their Royal Wedding Gift Fund in 2011.
The Prince and Princess of Wales also released a family portrait to mark their 15th wedding anniversary. “Celebrating 15 years of marriage,” read the caption. The photo was taken by photographer Matt Porteous during the Wales family’s holiday in Cornwall earlier this month. The portrait features the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Wishing them a long and happy life! They both look superb especially in photo number 4
ReplyDeleteI love what they are wearing here: him black jacket with blue shirt, her blue jacket and black shirt. In harmony, but bringing their own selves. Metaphor for a good marriage! Happy Anniversary, your Royal Highnesses.
ReplyDeleteI love the family portrait!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary, and wishing them many, many more.

Totally agree!
DeleteBoth dressed nicely, only the length of the pants I find a tad too long. A good colour blue for both.
ReplyDeleteShe and her hair looks great.
ReplyDeleteLove the colour coordination of the PoW couple!!! They both look splendid! I can't believe it has been 15 years already! All the best for them and their beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteI don't have much to say about the Mouret jacket, looks fine, top is good, hair is long :-). But I'd like to say something about the family photo. We know that as a family, they are (almost, almost ... but not quite) like any other family. But this is not something they need to "prove" us this way. We know it. And I for one don't need (or want) to see them lying on the ground with entangled limbs and showing definitely more legs than face. These two have been happily married for 15 years, a portrait of the two of them together is what I was expecting and what I would have been happy to look at. I think this was not a good decision.
ReplyDeleteI will admit to having been a bit taken aback by the entangled limbs. Glad they had a lovely and well-deserved holiday, but I agree that a beautiful official portrait of the couple would have been great, and more appropriate. Maybe such a portrait will still be forthcoming. (P.S., I hope you won’t be getting a lot of snark in response to your comment — if that happens, please don’t let it get to you. Some people can’t bear to see anyone disagreeing with them.)
Deleteyes i agree!! not the best choice of family photo, they have had better ones in the past.
DeleteAh 20:55, perhaps the joyful family photo was not aimed directly at you? Maybe it was meant for me ;-) because I think it’s gorgeous and am very happy to see that they have chosen to share a photo that they enjoy of their family looking happy. I doubt it is a “proof” as you suggest, but rather a photo they love that they wanted to share. Like humans might do.
DeleteAgree !!
Delete@04:09, notice please, I don't "oppose" or fight anyone who likes this photo. For me, it simply does not convey "15th wedding anniversary of future king and queen". These two are more than the sum of all family members and a 15th anniversary is a point in time where a photo of exactly these two would seem more appropriate for me.
DeleteThey love pictures taken in nature. It is not the first time they do that for an aniversary or a birthday. Maybe a portrait as a couple will follow and also one with them and the children. I think I never saw an official portrait of them as a family : parents + children.
Deleteyou would think they learnt from the last retouched photo that caused international media controversy!
DeleteI can see your point- laying on the ground outside certainly isn’t the most polished photo- but I actually like it. I suspect this is exactly what their life is about right now. They are neck deep in kid issues and tangles and adventures. The image shows that they are savoring this moment with their young thriving kids. The photo is a nice change from the usual perfectly coiffed, royals sitting for a birthday or anniversary portrait.
DeleteIt might not convey “future king and queen”… from the era of Queen Elizabeth II… but I think it wholeheartedly and generously conveys “future king and queen” as this couple prefer and choose to portray it. Shows how important their family is to show an anniversary photo which is about all 5 family members. Gorgeous !
DeleteThe blue blazer is similar to the red Alexander McQueen she has worn a few times.
ReplyDeleteBut the family picture is too casual for public release! everbody spreading their legs aganist each other! i suppose it will be the official Christmas card too!
Re the family photo being " too casual for public release" I agree.
DeleteHowever imo they are doing their best in an uncertain world and they are doing very well.
Oh now now 21:29, no need to diss a photo you don’t like or make it sound poor taste. Just move on. I for one feel privileged to see a photo from their private time and find it fun and delightful.
DeleteJ'aime cette famille.
ReplyDelete15 years have flown by. We were given the day off work to watch it on tv with pay(yay!)
ReplyDeleteThey are still in love with each other and their 3 children are a credit to them. Congratulations to them all
Legs everywhere? They are children wearing shorts on a sunny day having family time together. I dont find it offensive at all
ReplyDeleteI did not write "offensive" anywhere. If you disagree with my dislike of this photo (it was in 20:55) , that's fine, but do not distort what I wrote.
Deletei find it really bizarre that people can look at a family casual photo with kids in shorts and see it as somehow inappropriate. its become a very very weird world
DeleteMe neither.
DeleteHappy family with summery outfits, wishing them all luck ❤️
Silly photo of the family having fun. Obviously not taken recently not a portrait, they are not all facing forward. Yup just a snap shot.
ReplyDeleteThis pale blue jacket is beautifully crafted, great design and suits Catherine. Apparently the top and pants are dark brown in color, saw story elsewhere. I love the blue jacket, and normally I like the choices of color combination the Princess makes, but not on this occasion. I don't like brown and blue together, in saying that she looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet family picture. So much joy. I’d love to be back like that with the family I grew up in all lying together in the sun! Beautiful. Happy anniversary Catherine and William!
ReplyDeleteThey are a beautiful couple with beautiful children. To think of what they - especially Catherine - had to go through... I still remember their wedding, I sat in front of the television with a good friend and watched. Catherine was stunning, the whole thing was like a fairytale.
ReplyDeleteI wish all the best to this very lovely family!
Happy Anniversary. Who are the photo's trying to appeal too?(Tara)
ReplyDeleteThe photos are of them at an event and their choice of family photo for their anniversary. Not trying to appeal, but sharing their family joy with us.
DeleteJ’aime la couleur bleu pâle de la chemise de William comme celle du blazer de Kate !
ReplyDeleteI think ( in answer to the discussion about the family picture) that they want to show us that they feel blessed with there 3 children .
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think it is their way of communicating their justifiable joy and pride about the family they have created in 15 years of marriage, as is the “G,C,L” necklace Catherine wore on their anniversary.
