Nice jacket - poorly designed trousers. I’m really looking forward to this “way too much wasted material” trousers trend being done. Mary’s lovely anyway, but it’s despite the trousers. I don’t understand why people are buying them… don’t they see that they don’t look neat?

I don’t understand either, most likely they want to be seen in the latest style, rather than what makes them look their best in.

23:05 yrs I think many are attracted by the latest style because it’s the latest style a and are persuaded that when something is in style, especially if pricey, it must be lovely. As opposed to really being lovely. Or stepping back and saying even though it’s in style I find this style unflattering and don’t want to buy clothes of a short lived style because that’s wasteful.

Nice navy suit with soft stripes, albeit a bit wrinkled, but I would swap the high gathered neckline for a top that sits lower.

  4. This 3 piece outfit is interesting, particularly the blouse. The jacket fits well, pants bit on the baggy side, though I realise this is current fashion. I love the Navy color and strips. She looks stylish. Love her earrings, these are pretty. I do love her rich colored burgundy shoes, what a beautiful shade and color.

When I look at the photo of QM standing with the men, her outfit looks heavy and dark without the contrast of a lighter-coloured shirt (which all the men are wearing). Mary has attempted to add contrast by carrying an aqua bag but for me it just looks like a random addition -- as it is unrelated to her outfit.
I like the colour of the suit; but overall it has so many folds and layers, it looks overly busy to me, especially the frilly retro Edwardian high collar. I can see Mary loves these high frilly collars, but I don't think they work with every type of outfit. Lyra

I really love this suit. It's modern, it means business, and the tailoring is feminine and chic (per the model), especially the jacket. The trousers are BOTH a hit AND a miss. Hit because they are the trendy flared style that sometimes suit the wearer, and a miss because when they crease, they look flared and untidy. But overall, I still like it and think Mary looks good and business-like for this sort of meeting.
