On April 19, 2026, Crown Princess Kiko and Princess Kako attended the “Charity Concert 2026: Beethoven’s Ninth Sung by Cancer Patients” at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre in Toshima Ward, Tokyo. Organized by the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research and other organizations, around 190 cancer patients and their family members, ranging in age from their 20s to their 80s, performed Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 accompanied by an orchestra.
Princess Kako, a favourite of mine, looks gorgeous in that dress. Beautiful neckline & colour. Mary

I do love Princess Kako's deep blue colored dress, the design of the front is very becoming and appealing. I wonder what color her shoes are? The pale blue dress Princess Kiko is wearing looks very elegant. Love her subtle necklace and pearl pendant, this is a lovely attractive addition.

ReplyDeleteI love the rich purple colour on her. Those with black hair and dark brown eyes wear bright colours so easily and so well! most of the Japanese royal ladies lean towards delicate pale colours, but I love the combination of black hair adjacent to vibrant jewel tones. Lyra
Kiko is always elegant and her daughter always so very lovely. Two beautiful ladies.

ReplyDeletePrincess Kako is my Japanese fashion heroine (as far as the Imperial Family is concerned). This pleated criss-crossing around her midriff looks extremely good. The colour is a hit as well.
