On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, Princess Amalia started as a military working student at the Royal Netherlands Air Force (Koninklijke Luchtmacht) as part of the Defensity College program in which she participates. Previously, the Princess was affiliated as a working student with the Defence Staff and completed the General Military Training (AMO).
Defensity College aims to offer students a meaningful part-time job during their studies and to increase the visibility of and connection between the armed forces and society. The program consists of various workplaces, activities, events, and training courses.
