The suit fits the princess well. Melanie looks good in that colour, fit is nice. The only thing I would change is the length of the sleeve is a tad too long for Melanie, otherwise lovely. I often wonder if she is the support for Charlene, not a lady in waiting but a similar role. She seems very loyal to her cousin.

DeleteWhat I love about PC is her detailing. Her hair and make up are on point. You can tell that an effort has been put into her appearance. Some royal ladies they look like they’ve grabbed the first thing to hand, and just barely put a comb through their hair. I doubt she dresses like this in her downtime. But whilst being the face of Monaco, she really pulls it out all the stops. The RL looks baggy on the model so I’m guessing that’s how it’s meant to be worn. It’s good to see her back to her pre-wedding weight, which she herself stated she was aiming to do, but at a gradual pace.

DeleteWhilst her hair and make-up are fine the suit is not. I dare say it is designed to be `oversize` , the model wears it well HSH is swamped by it. Everything is too large and too long -it wears her.

ReplyDeleteI find Charlene is just fine at this weight, her clothes fit her and she does not wear clothes that always accentuates her thinness like Catherine. Personal choice, but other than being thin their body types are completely different
DeleteBecause we know quite a lot about Catherine’s health history. She’s in a necessarily long recovery from cancer. She’s healing and so we don’t question her weight loss because it is explained. Charlene’s is not, but last time she got this skinny she was very unwell in South Africa and had to go for emotional rehabilitation. This is the basis of the worry,

Well they are in Monaco, not Munich, so perhaps Prince Albert has a different protocol and it could be that the event warrants the sponsors to be seated differently
