Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima are undertaking a working visit to the United States from April 13 to 15, 2026. On the second day of their visit to Miami, Florida, the King and Queen visited Shake-A-Leg Marina. The organization makes water sports accessible to people with physical, developmental, or economic limitations. The King and Queen then visited the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute.
The Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute collaborates with Dutch companies on solutions and innovations in the field of cardiovascular surgery. For the visit, Queen Máxima wore a soft pink embroidered skirt from the fashion house Natan.

Quite a smart and practical looking outfit.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that I am not a fan of uneven hems.
Cate.
Must thought exactly. The crisp white blouse and textured skirt are perfect. The king is wearing a well fitting suit, good colour for him
DeleteAn outfit that perfectly covers ‘smart casual’ though, like Cate, I think the skirt would have looked better with a level hem.
DeleteA great look for both king and queen. Simple and casual yet both look smart. Whoever Maxima's hairdresser has been for this trip deserves great credit. The queen has looked fabulous each day.
ReplyDeleteSorry, each day except this day. Also not an appropriate outfit to visit a harbour.
Deleteanon 14:28. What is appropriate for visiting a Harbor? A Sailor suit?
DeleteI think she looks quite practical and professional and as always, beautiful.
I think she looks great again today (love her skirt) but I would have put her in more practical shoes for a visit to a boat dock. Espadrille wedges would be less dangerous and much more comfortable with this outfit.

DeleteThey didn't stay long in the marina. After that they visited the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute. The outfit was chosen to wear on 2 different occasions on the same day. The outfit is a simple working outfit which is nice.
Anno1428..neither is a suit, however you don know what event they go to next, so appropriate, they are not getting on the boat
DeleteCompletely agree! Laughing at the harbor fashion comment…no sailor suit for the harbor and no doctors coat for the health clinic either
DeleteI am amazed Máxima can walk on a dock in high heels without getting a heel stuck. Nita fan of the uneven hem of her skirt.

Re heels if you wear them all the time not a problem, but once you stop it is hard to get back.
Delete*not a (not Nita)
DeleteIsn't it sooo Maxima to show up to a marina in broad daylight in a glitzy Natan skirt? Anything else certainly would have been ooc, I think. Or to put it differently: There's method to this madness. *lol*
ReplyDeleteLove this skirt! I don't know why the description calls it pink - it looks very beige to me and UFO describes as beige also. In any case, it's a great outfit with the white blouse, perfect for a Miami spring day. The Queen's wardrobe for this visit has been beautiful and perfect for our weather. Her hair is noticably thicker as well so I imagine she's had extensions added which work really well for her. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI think the skirt is a rewear ftom the day that then Prince Willem Alexander was installed as King of the Netherlands.
ReplyDeleteJ’adore l’association entre ce chemisier blanc et la jupe Natan même si elle est asymétrique !
ReplyDeleteI like the color of Queen Maxima's outfit. Nothing like a white crisp shirt or blouse that goes well with beige/camel colors. But the fabric of skirt does not excite me and I probably would have chosen a somewhat dressy sandal with a block heel for the dock walk.
ReplyDeleteHer wardrobe in this visit has been so out of the back of the wardrobe and 'old fashioned ' it has been predictable. At least the hair has been trained sometimes. Not on point in style or colour, except for the honouring Orange.
ReplyDeleteShe looks very nice. The wardrobe the past few times was great.

This is a nice outfit, the uneven hem is not too uneven! so this skirt I like. The crisp white blouse is well combined, a lovely look.
ReplyDelete@23:15 - I totally agree. At least we've been spared the anticipated sombrero.
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is a rewear from 2019 and looks more light beige than pink to me.
ReplyDeleteIt was paired with a blouse in the same color and with a bow.
