King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima are paying a working visit to the United States. From April 13 to 15, 2026, they will visit Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), Washington, D.C., and Miami (Florida). The King and Queen arrived at Philadelphia International Airport on Sunday. Their three-day working visit officially begins on Monday, with engagements scheduled in Philadelphia, Washington, and Miami.
The King and Queen are undertaking the visit in part to strengthen economic ties with the United States. Although the working visit officially starts on Monday, they will already attend a dinner on Sunday evening with Dutch representatives of companies and organizations in the United States. There, they will be briefed on current economic and social developments. For the first day in Philadelphia, the Queen wore a green suit by Jan Taminiau.

Belle couleur verte ; par ce temps venteux, Maxima a su choisir un châle de la même couleur !
ReplyDeleteZiet er een beetje leger achtig uit, niet flatteus.
ReplyDeleteWelk leger?
DeleteHet is ook nooit goed hè
Deleteshe looks wrapped in a blanket! jet lagged is suppose!
ReplyDeleteThat does seem to be the outfit - and I think how most of us feel after a long flight! Excellent colour for Maxima.
Delete@19:09 i think it was meant to be a sarcastic joke, outfit looks like a blanket
DeleteSo happy to see the KING again in public!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletehe is always in public! you won't see him on this blog often cause its about fashion. on the Dutch instagram page he is busy

This comment is so stupid. Follow them on the socials and you find yourself probaly also really stupid
DeleteNice colour green suits her well, the cape came in handy, but so much fabric to deal with.
ReplyDeleteIt's windy at the airport, but if I were on an official visit, I'd leave the blanket on the plane and take a regular coat. Even though it's a piece by J Taminiau, it still looks like a blanket to wrap yourself in while sitting in front of the TV with a cup of tea in hand and your feet up on a chair.

Nice color. The first picture I thought that's a thick fabric. It looks great on the model but too long as a traditional wrap.
ReplyDeleteThe colour is a great choice for Queen Maxima but the wrap definitely has blanket vibes. Respect for negotiating the aircraft steps in those heels!
DeleteHet pak is niet mijn smaak, maar ok, echter de veel te grote lap erbij staat echt potsierlijk.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the USA, YM's. So nice to see you here. Hope you all have a great time, also at the White House and off course get the work done. I like this green suit, not so much the wrap, this seems a little too big.

Not sure of the outfit on the Queen, cannot see clearly, but the color on the other hand is stunning, love this shade of green, very attractive.
