During the Warmoes Biennale, artists exhibit their work in shops, pubs, and churches throughout the city center. The artworks are specially created for these locations and reflect the diverse reality of the inner city. At ADAMAS, the Amsterdam network of Credible Messengers, young people who spend much of their time on the streets and are at risk of becoming involved in crime receive guidance.

The overall look is fresh and modern, perfect for a young woman, and navy blue is a gorgeous pairing with her hair color. She looks like she’s having fun on this solo tour.

I agree. She looks so striking. I love that she's fuller figured too. Not all royals need to be rail thin. Vibrant and gorgeous.

I am not sure, it looks a bit bulky and I cannot understand why you have a clutch bag on a day visit (something I dislike in general for all Royal ladies) when you might need to have your hands free. I would like to see Amalia in a more relaxed clothing that fits her age, and skipping those high heels!

  2. The sleeves are too long and the trousers are too short, but I still like what Amalia´s wearing. The dark blue looks great with her blond hair, the tight top shows off her fantastic new silhouette, and the style is comfortable and just right for her age while still looking polished and elegant.

    1. I don't think the trousers are too short. I don't like the current fashion for pants legs that swallow your feet.

The sleeves are designed to sit over the hands in that way I think. I like them. For walking around, for style and ease, I would have loved to see this outfit paired with white or other cool coloured sneakers. I don’t think high heels are necessary nor the most flattering for most outfits.

She wears it exactly like on the model. Pants too short and sleeves too long. One likes it or not. I do not like it. Besides on Amalia the pants are looking like the barrel pants which I do not see on the model. Lately the Max Mara clothes are less attractive than before. Maybe with an outfit like this one is not supposed to wear high heels. I am sure this is the latest fashion, which is attractive for young people. Also Maxima is one of the first to follow every new fashion thing that is coming out (like the vests/waistcoats which are worn by the fashionista's). Max Mara is also a brand that is designed for tall women. Like Maxima and Amalia.

    6. Good point @05:07. The trouser length would work really well with flat shoes, and Amalia certainly has the height - she doesn´t need heels.
I know the design is meant to be that way (sleeves are long and trousers are short on the model too), but I just don´t like it. The sleeve cuffs maybe are intended to be folded?

Maybe you live in a country where muslims are not welcome. Maybe with the climate change your country could accept some muslims, because where they live there is war and in the future it will be too hot to live there.

The theme of the Biennale is diversity. Also: I live in Europe and have some Muslim friends, and I will give you some free advice: expand your world and make some too: you'll never make such a comment again!

    8. Seriously, anon05:09? In what part of the world do you live, if I may ask? Europe, and the bigger cities there in particular, is/are very, very, diverse, you'd see people of all nationalities, all ethnicities, all faiths, living rather quietly and peacefully together there. In my town alone (which does not have much more than 35,000 inhabitants, but is close to a major European Airport) we have people from about 120 nationalities as residents. No prob at all.

Who said so ? People who are not living in Europe but in the States maybe ? They haven't got a clue about life in Europe. We have proof that they are always there quickly to say what they do not like about Europe or what Europeans are not doing good, etc.... Are there no other nationalities in the country or state where you are living ?

its like going to Dubai and wondering why the city has 90% foreign nationals and only 10% Emirates. International cities thrive on foreign investment, thats the future of the world

  8. Oh wow! the Princess looks so striking, she is very statuesque and has such presence, mature beyond her years. I love the Navy color of this outfit. The dark blue is a gorgeous color. The long sleeve blouse is very becoming, this fits her beautifully, highlighting her shape perfectly to its advantage. The pants are perfect. Love the small Navy clutch, gorgeous bag. She looks very elegant and stylish.

Ben er niet weg van, het halsgedeelte is veel te groot ten opzichte van de te lange mouwen en te korte broekspijpen en de haargordijnen had ze deel vast kunnen zetten, wat een sierlijker beeld geeft.

    1. I suggest you look occasionally at fashion magazines (particularly those for young people). In fact I don't wear myself extra long sleeves, but leave the choice to others.
I saw comments about the trousers' length, paired with boots I think it is ok, and safer on cobble stone pavement...

No need to buy glossy fashion magazines which are too expensive. Everything can be found on the internet.

  10. CP Amalia is looking lovely in that deep blue outfit. I agree that the pants are a little bit too short with the heeled shoes, flat shoes would make them look perfect. The sleeves of her top are long, but that's how many sleeves are looking now. They are not intended for househod chore ;)
She seems to be having a good time, good for her.

    I think she looks smashing.
I agree with 18/4/26 05:07 that cool or white sneakers would really look good with this outfit. I think she is wearing thick heeled boots not shoes but I can't really see properly. Both the sneakers and boots are the only intelligent things to put on ones feet to walk anywhere in central Amsterdam if you don't want to twist your ankle, fall over a loose tile or stub your toes if wearing sandals, besides the risk of falling over a step where a step is not expected. Some of the still cobbled areas are a real challange for the unwary in high heels.

The same in Brussels, the cobbles are there. When I was young I also walked with high heels on these stones. Queen Mathilde is also wearing high heels when the car brings her to a certain place where she has to be present. Sometimes she has to walk a short distance on cobble stones. Before the Royal Palace in Brussels the broad street is made of cobble stones. The horses of the Royal Guards are not breaking their legs on these stones because they are used to it from generation after generation.

Oh my you think people can’t balance themselves, we don’t all need orthopaedic , lace up shoes. She knows what she can wear for the limited time and slow walk about.

    3. غير معرف18/4/26 14:22

I know what it is. From a certain age (approaching the 80s) women cannot balance themselves any more. I f.e. am wearing higher heels and not very thin when I can go by car which brings me before the door where I have to step down. There I must stay right up during a short time to have a drink and than I can sit on a table with delicious food for the rest of the evening. After that the car brings me back before the entrance of my house where I can take my shoes off once the door is closed behind me. All the other days I wear sneakers or loafers or comfort sandals when it is hot.

But she is young and she likes to wear high heels. When she'll has the age of her grand mother Princess Beatrice, she has plenty of time to wear loafers and low heels.

I applaud Amalia’s choice of dark shoes that do not visually cut her off at the ankle, as light-colored shoes would have done. The uninterrupted line is more elegant and flattering.

At first glance my thought immediately went to a ‘little Dutch boy trousers’ like an illustration from my childhood book. Though I am not a fan of the long sleeves, she wears this well and is on trend for a young person. The openness gives her a slimming effect.

I like elements of the outfit, but what matters is that Amalia likes it. She has been favoring tops with deep fronts. This one made me curious to see her in a sweetheart neckline, but fashion being fashion, it may be a couple years before we see that. Christine
