On March 4, 2026, Queen Suthida presided over the opening ceremony of the “BPW Empowered Women” project, held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Associations of Thailand and the 10th anniversary of the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network Thailand (AWEN Thailand). The event took place at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok in Pathum Wan District, Bangkok.

حذفI agree 10:08. I think this is lip service. @14:31 yes a different culture. But there are so many different western cultures and so many different eastern cultures and it’s particularly hard for us to accept the rules the Thai king holds over others, and then it looks pretty fake to see this queen attend an “empowered women” event.

ردحذف@Eugenie: They still observe a one year mourning period for the late Queen Dowager Sirikit. She passed away in October 2025, so still some months to go in black (or dark colours like charcoal, navy) until the mourning period will be over.

ردحذفWhy is everyone wearing black for empowering women? I thought it was a funeral. However, Queen Suthida looks fabulous as always. I like the way her dress is fitted on the top and flares out at the bottom. The pin on the shoulder lifts up the outfit.

Her ensembles are always beautifully tailored, fits are 100% perfect. The silhouette is very flattering. The skirt of this outfit, wonderful. Sits well, nice swish on movement. I enlarged one of the photos, her earrings on this occasion are a favorite of mine. The base is diamond and the pearl is a glorious size so effective, beautiful quality pearls, the gleam is stunning. Looks to be a brooch on/near her shoulder. Her shoes look lovely, but the small bag is splendid, her bag game is nearly always interesting and creative. I have never seen a bag designed this way before, love it! Her hair and makeup are on point. This is a impeccable presentation as always.
