Queen Maxima Attends a Virtual Meeting with Maria Luís Albuquerque

Queen Máxima wore a red silk shirt by Natan for meeting with European Commissioner Maria Luís Albuquerque

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA), took part in a virtual meeting with European Commissioner Maria Luís Albuquerque to discuss financial literacy and financial health. Only a small proportion of European Union citizens possess a high level of financial literacy. The Financial Literacy Strategy, launched by the European Commission last year, aims to address this issue.

No, not in the strict sense of word but she surely has an extensive financial knowledge and is acting in her official capacity as UNSGSA for financial health.
This is exactly what this meeting is about as the caption above reads.

Have you heard her speak on finance? She’s extremely well informed especially in Microfinance in poor nations. Not at all being given too much credit in this subject area - she’s earned her way to the role.

She studied in Argentina and in New York. She worked in the banking world before she met with King Willem-Alexander. She has been encouraged by her eltern to achieve a lot of knowledge of the financial world. There have been a series on Dutch television about her life from a young age on until she married Willem-Alexander.

  9. A modern queen, intelligent, educated, capable of representing her country, she is not a simple fashion model.
