The suit is a pretty color but am I allowed to say I don't like the blouse or the shoes? Since Queen Letizia started wearing low heels I haven't really cared for most of her shoes and these are particularly unattractive to me. I don't like the big buckle on a low heel and I don't really like the color with this aqua suit. A pussy bow bouse and different shoe, plain pump or even a sandal would have looked better.

Fair enough you don’t like them; doesn’t have to be to your taste! I actually really like the shoes and find them practical in colour and shape and would love to own several from her preferred brand. What I don’t love here is the lower part of the trousers, but that’s because I prefer straight trousers with a hem just over the shoe for suits (call me conservative!). The blouse for me is a nice twist on a business blouse and sits well under the jacket. What I really love are the costumes of the two dancers, right down to the excellent stockings.

    2. Full agree re the shoes. These are both unattractive and mismatched to my eye too. And the situation is further aggravated by the too short trousers.
I do like the blouse actually, and it isn´t a bow blouse from what I can see. It is a high neck design with some draping at the neck, but I find it simple and basic enough to work under the jacket.

Sandals in March? Actually lots of rain and cold IS the weather channel in Spain, these days.

    5. I agree that the colour is lovely but I rather like the blouse with the unusual neckline .Like Anon 16 43, I think longer length trousers are generally much smarter. Like Anon 15 52, I do not really like the shoes but they are prettier than the black ones she wore with this suit the last time. It is a shame that her footwear is so restricted. I'm sure she misses her glamorous heels as much as we miss seeing her wearing them.

As my own rule of thumb, I never really like shirts and blouses under suit jackets. They cannot come out to play, they are restricted and display just a very limited part of themselves, which is not an advantage for anything that has an own design. For me, what one wears under a suit jacket should not be much more than a simple complementing accessory - like for example the black top she is wearing on the photo to the left of the model. As for shoes, I'd prefer those flat black shoes too.

16:40 I find your suit opinion interesting. As someone who wore a suit for many years and would take the jacket on and off according to comfort, temperature and formality throughout the day, I had to have a good blouse on underneath so that it still looked right with the skirt or pants. I cannot imagine a suit jacket with just the bare minimum under because what would happen all those times the jacket comes off!

Anon 21:00 - A beautiful silk or thin cashmere/merino or cotton shirt is not the bare minimum. What I mean in most cases is the collar or the bow, a complicated neckline. A good solution are collarless jackets. But of course, it is only me...

This trim trouser suit in a fresh, subtle colour, combined with a feminine blouse and coordinated, slightly playful shoes is a relief from her recent dull looks. Letizia looks elegant and refined.

Beautiful suit in a bright spring color and modern cut with straight, ankle length pants. I prefer the lighter camel shoes, instead of black, paired with turquoise, so I think this is a great outfit.

I like this suit, colour fit very nice. I like the blouse, the fabric around the neck flows nicely, gives a feminine touch without bows. Shoes are okay the colour helps to not define a strong line from the hem of the pants. The costumes are fabulous example of fine workmanship and exquisite lace.

I agree that this color is more lively than other clothes she has recently worn.

  11. As someone who has feet problems, I personally appreciate the flatter shoe, heel. Comfort and pain free as possible is the priority when you are faced with difficulties / issues medically with feet. The buckle to me is a welcome addition, its hard-to-find shoes of this description that has some sort of interesting feature with regards to this style of nude leather shoe, obviously buckles are not appealing to some people. Regardless I do prefer the black flat shoes worn previously, these flat shoes have character. Looks to be an addition on the top of the shoe.
The pantsuit is a beautiful shade; Teal color is gorgeous. I like the length of these pants. The two-button jacket looks lovely. The repeat white blouse is one of my favorites, I love the unusual neckline, its distinctive and attractive. In saying that, the black top shown worn before by the Queen looks far better, it reflects more character and depth overall.

Queen Letizia's suit is a rewear. The color is fashion the coming spring and summer. It is normal that the trousers are not long enough. During summer she wore her trousers always like that. Apparently in Spain it was longer fashion than in the rest of Europe to wear trousers a bit shorter during summer. In the meantime she started to wear wider trousers which are longer too. I like her shoes with the buckles, they are inspired on the ballerina's I wore during the 60s and were fashion last summer and I think they still are this spring and summer. With wider trousers they are matching probably less, but Queen Letizia knows what kind of shoes she must wear with her wider trousers.
